Deal With It: Epic Oregon-USC Battles Ahead
This is where the divide seems to be in this debate. I want the Pac-12 to make it difficult for the Ducks to be dominant. Oklahoma dominated a weak Big 12, got to the CFP, and got blown out. Playing a weak conference schedule won't help the Ducks. It will lead to lack of focus. We saw that with Clemson during their run, Syracuse had no business being in a game with them. I want the Ducks to understand that every play, every game deserves their full attention. Let's have Lanning's Ducks be the first Pac-12 team to go 9-0. Of course, it would be fine if Washington went 0-12 again.

Oregon Football 2022: Your Offensive and Defensive Goals?
These are nice. Last season Alabama averaged 40 and 20, so pretty much what we want here, give or take a field goal. Georgia averaged about 40 on offense, gave up 10 on defense. Imagine what it would be like to have a D that does that all season? Not realistic to expect the 10. But, now 17 seems reachable, as Happy wrote, more likely to achieve then regularly putting 42 on the scoreboard every week, Dillingham wants around 80 plays a game, cut that down a little with explosive plays, kick it up with the defense creating turnovers, this could be a very fun season.

Back in the 60's UCLA had a super booster, Sam Gilbert. Those days are gone. At Oregon, Kelly was at a school with a concerted effort to win. At UCLA, particularly in football, antipathy would be a step up.- Oregon Football 2022: Your Offensive and Defensive Goals?
On offense I want it to be non-stop looking to score until the time runs out. Repetition of success is fine, but the offense can't be predictable. On defense? Imagine a time when the opponent facing a 3rd and 16 is a good thing?- Deal With It: Epic Oregon-USC Battles Ahead
Yes, that is the plan, Oregon and USC's chances of making that happen depend on both being really good. Oklahoma ruled the Big 12, made it to the Invitational. The Sooners were the guy the other players loved to see at the poker game, as they were way out of their league. Get the Pac-12 so that like the SEC, when you lose a conference game, you drop from No.3 to No.5.- Baseball: The Season starts Today. Oregon Plans for it to end in Omaha
