Maybe the "9 out of 10" proclamation was a little emotional (and maybe i figured it might catch the ire of some, lol, oops). Things got better throughout the course of the season, until the defensive performance against Penn State. Maybe it was just a single poor performance, but definitely raised questions.

Yup. But, in college we've been trained that the regular season everything! No more. I could see where they ditch the conference championship games and expand the playoff.

Agree. But, not necessarily lose on purpose, but like in Week 18 of the NFL, sit key players to avoid injury if you are a playoff team with nothing to play for. Like Mahomes and Allen this past Sunday.

Great points. Yes, should definitely separate top (ducks, buckeyes, while a lightweight like IU can go wherever) conference foes as much as reasonable and possible.

I have HASSLED THE HOFF. Back in 2007, in my LA days, I was at the huge street party in West Hollywood for Halloween and literally bumped into David Hasselhoff (alcohol was involved by both parties). I was all, "Hey! you're David Hasselhoff dressed up like Jack the Ripper!" The Hoff, "You got it, man!" We then bro-hugged it out and went on our merry, stumbling, ways. A good memory, I think.........
