IF..........and it's a big IF, those 5 young women could have played the entire game, mathematically they would have scored 88 points. Of course, as one fatigues their efficiency declines. The surprising aspect of the game stats is that if you exclude the outlier of game minutes played by Arielle Wilson(3 minutes) that Nyara Sabally and Lydia Giomi had the fewest minutes played. I think Graves saw the opportunity as the game progressed to give the freshwomen valuable playing time.

I don't subscribe to the altitude of Eugene vs Boulder theory. Corvallis, Or = 235 feet altitude. Since 2010/11; Oregon State record in Boulder = 3 wins vs 5 losses. Tad Boyle just seems to have Dana's number in Boulder. In Eugene is another story as the Ducks have won all but one game against the Buffs in that time frame.

My bad, make it 0 for 10! After leading by 2 at the half, Colorado pushed the lead to 14 with 16:42 left in the 2nd half. Ducks cut that lead to 5 with 14:19 left. Buffs went up 12 with 8:22 remaining. Oregon cut that lead to 5 with 6:33 to go. Colorado went on a 7-0 run to lead by 13 at the 4:13 point left in the game. Ducks were able to get within 4 points and 1:53 left in the game. Ultimately it was too many runs by Colorado in the second half that doomed our Ducks!

For me, the highlight play of the game came with 13 minutes left in the second half. LJ Figueroa launches a 3 point attempt from straight on. LJ senses that it isn't going in, so you see him charging down the center of the lane, elevate and grab the ball as it bounces off the front of the rim and slam it back in.

I know there is a cost to staying in the Pac12 and going down with the ship so to speak, but I suspect there is a "contract" for remaining in the conference. There has to be a financial cost that would be incurred to break that contract.
