Oregon’s 2026 Offensive Line: Dan Lanning’s Quietest Masterpiece?

Have you ever watched a team lose three starters at a position group, and somehow look stronger heading into the next year?

That is the story shaping up along Oregon’s offensive line in 2026, and almost nobody outside of Eugene is paying full attention. The Ducks finished as a Joe Moore Award finalist for the third straight year in 2025, then sent three linemen to the NFL Draft. Most rooms in that spot slow down. Instead, Dan Lanning has Oregon set up to take the next step forward.

This is not a loud rebuild. It is a careful one. And it might be the most underrated coaching job of his time in Eugene.

No.

This breakdown of Tommy Tofi's Spring game I thought was very encouraging.

(Not sure if link is working. It comes up if one searches YouTube for Landon Tengwall)

It will be the tackles that will determine if the line improves or not. If Fox Crader and either Bennett, Rodgers, or Iheanacho are a step up from last year. Interior will be very good I think, veterans are NFL players, and the other guard spot will have enough talented contenders that I'm not worried about it.
