The Oregon Ducks are cranking up the recruiting heat even after landing five-star receiver Dakota Guerrant.

Guerrant joins edge rusher Rashad Streets plus quarterback Will Mencl as the five-stars representing the 2027 class, but Guerrant may not be the only five-star wideout playing for coach Dan Lanning and company. Duck fans have another talent to monitor by the time the weekend of June 19 wraps up.

On3/Rivals recruiting insider Steve Wiltfong reported that there's another five-star worth monitoring amid Guerrant's commitment.

"Glassboro (N.J.) High five-star receiver Xavier Sabb takes his official visit this weekend," Wiltfong revealed. "Similar to Guerrant, it’s Oregon trending heavily over LSU, Tennessee, UCLA and others."

The Oregon Ducks appear to be gearing up for another massive recruiting win with a big tight end weapon visiting Eugene before Father's Day weekend.

The Oregon Ducks are locking in on adding more summertime victories via the recruiting trail.

Oregon started the week of June 15 by landing five-star wide receiver Dakota Guerrant. The Ducks are also trending to land two more five stars in receiver Xavier Sabb and safety Hayden Stepp to boost the 2027 recruiting class.

But there's another blue chip recruit to monitor closely ahead of Father's Day weekend.

Oregon Ducks Rising as Favorite for Four-Star Tight End

National recruiting insider for 247Sports, Tom Loy, revealed that coach Dan Lanning and his staff will be welcoming four-star tight end Anthony Cartwright to Eugene.

The standout from Detroit Country Day is in a great spot with Oregon, as Loy described.

"In checking with sources, there is a ton of confidence in Eugene that Cartwright will eventually end up at Oregon," Loy writes

Oregon Ducks predicted to land 5-star CB after OV season

On Monday, Rivals' insider Steve Wiltfong placed an official prediction for Stepp to commit to the Ducks.

According to ESPN, Stepp is a 5-star CB, the No. 14 player in the 2027 class. Both Rivals and 247Sports have him slightly lower, at a 4-star, but rated as the No. 6 CB (247Sports) and No. 5 CB (Rivals) in the nation.

The Ducks hosted Lex Mailangi during this past weekend's group of official visitors looking to secure their place atop his recruitment. Leaving the weekend with the prediction, it appears that the Ducks have pulled ahead of the likes of UCLA, Cal and USC.

According to Rivals' Industry Recruiting Rankings, Lex Mailangi is the 709th ranked player in the country, the 54th ranked interior offensive lineman in the class, and the 59th ranked player out of California.

On Sunday, the top uncommitted tight end recruit in the class will come off the board when Anthony Cartwright III announces his commitment. Oregon already has a tight end on board in George VanSandt, but to keep the tight end pipeline flowing, the Ducks will look to sign two high school recruits. The Ducks have seemingly pulled ahead of Michigan and Miami, and Sunday should see another 4-star recruit join this class.

Brayton Feister - Linebacker

Coming into the Summer, Ohio Native Brayton Feister looked like he could be the next recruit to jump on board. Instead, other schools like Georgia have shrunk the Ducks' presumed lead, creating a battle at the top. Oregon has remained in the battle for Feister, and he'd become the perfect final addition to a loaded linebacker haul.

Hayden Stepp - Defensive Back

When former Oregon commit Ai'King Hall flipped from the Ducks to Miami, it created a major need at cornerback in this class. While Hayden Stepp would've been a priority regardless, it only elevated the Ducks need to land a commitment. Oregon has battled with Alabama in this recruitment, and in the end it looks like Oregon should still end up with an elite cornerback recruit.

The coaching staff has used the string of official visits to quickly flip the narrative around this recruiting class, as Oregon is now up to 21 commitments. Sunday was another incredible day for the staff as Oregon picked up a commitment from 4-star TE Anthony Cartwright III.

After landing Anthony Cartwright III, Oregon will quickly turn it's attention toward sealing other commitments. The start of July looks to be the most promising time for the program as the Ducks are trending for a trio of elite targets.

It won't take long to see if Tae Walden is indeed heading to Eugene, as he'll announce his commitment on July 1st, which has the potential to be a massive day for the Ducks.

Hayden Stepp - Cornerback

Ever since Ai'King Hall flipped to Miami and Donte Wright chose the Hurricanes over the Ducks, Hayden Stepp has been the clear top priority on the recruiting trail for Oregon. This Summer, Alabama seemed to have the lead for Hayden Stepp, but his official visit to Eugene seemingly turned the tides in favor of the Ducks. Stepp will be announcing his commitment on July 1st at the Rivals Summer Signing Day, event where everyone expects Oregon to seal the deal.

Xavier Sabb - Wide Receiver

The recruitment of Xavier Sabb has turned into a matter of when he'll commit to Oregon rather than if he'll pick the Ducks. While the two older Sabb brothers are currently playing for Kalen DeBoer at Alabama, Xavier Sabb is looking to pave his own path, and Oregon looks to be the team best positioned to land the commitment. Sabb hasn't set an official commitment date, but when he does announce, the Ducks will be picking up a 5-star recruit with an exciting chance to make an impact as soon as he lands in Eugene.

Oregon's hopes are fading for Brayden Parks and Brayton Feister, two defensive studs from the Midwest as recruiting moves into the summer dead period, June 23 to July 31.

Prediction machines have Parks, the 6-3, 303-pound four-star defensive tackle from Brother Rice High School in Chicago, all but wrapped up for Notre Dame. Parks has ties to the Irish, coaches and players he knows from training, and the location is ideal for his family as they follow his career.

Linebacker Feister, 6-2, 238, originally slated a commitment announcement for July 11, but he has postponed it. For a long while the Ducks were though to lead for him but the delay suggests Georgia's bid for him puts that in doubt.
