1 hour ago1 hr Administrator No. We have not been in this spot in a very long time. We could continue to be a poor team, or we could improve into something notable....but which? This is entertainment we are not used to....What Will Oregon Do?Will we come out in a Power-Gap Offense as dazedinconfused believes, or in an updated passing offense as I lean towards? Which QB? How long? Can the defense continue as last week? Can our punting game help us again? So many questions, and it will be very, very interesting to watch. This is not what we expected, but you have to admit--it WILL be highly entertaining! Mr. OBD
1 hour ago1 hr Moderator No. I’ve been thinking the same thing. The feeling reminds me of those days when we seemed to be reinventing ourselves almost on a weekly basis. In those days it was because we were inventing what we would eventually become. Now, it feels like it’s because what we've become is stale.
1 hour ago1 hr No. I was thinking the same thing for the UCLA game and ended up with a lump of coal.I do find this matchup fascinating, but being "entertaining" is dependent on if we can move ball forward more often than we move backwards or give it away.
1 hour ago1 hr Moderator No. No spoiler alerts needed for the rest of the season. Just tune in and watch.

31 minutes ago31 min No. Something has to change. We are a RPO Zone blocking scheme, but what if stop always counting numbers and we lose the RPO some of the time. Could we see some throwback Chip - bring the zone read option with Brock or Akili Jr in there? Maybe that old Straddled Option they had out of different sets. This would force the D to be disciplined across their run reads and make them react to us, not us to them.If we go Power Gap - I like the QB getting out on some play action naked boots. Set it up and give me a TE to the flats - #7 on a deep route over that, and #1 middle cross from the backside. There is a lot we can do different to try to mask the OL weakness, or make the game easier for them.
