I agree. This lets a lot more fan bases have a rooting interest later into the season and actually makes more meaningful games during the season.

It worked in Pro football, baseball and basketball.

Sorry purists, your ship sailed years ago.

Probably means we will always have a ND / usc matchup when the series resumes. And hopefully other cross conference rivalries.
