Dan Lanning: H.C. of The Oregon Ducks!

Lanning deserves his flowers. He has put on a clinic of how to coach a football team in an imperfect situation.

We have watched this guy coach his absolute backside off. He has taken it on the chin and kept getting off the mat. Over and over again.

We have seen him look compleatly lost, almost in tears, fear of what he has to say to his players and family.

He has lost significant players to injury. Delt with criminal activity of players and assistant coaches. Had a bad hire and had to take action mid season. Fans and some in media calling for his job.

He has stayed true to himself, God, team and family all the way through. And he just kept punching up, never quit.

I don't know what happens from here, but I love this man. So so proud of him. He has earned his right to coach this Oregon Ducks.

He has taken this season to a level few get an opportunity to. He will come out the other side stronger and better as coach, a man, father and husband then he ever intended to be when he started this adventure.

Win or lose, Lanning is my Coach. And the depth of that meaning makes my eyes sweaty.

Go Ducks! God willing, let's get it done this year.

Thanks, getting pretty beat up right now. But that win feels really good.

I mention before that Lanning 2.0 will be a very dangerous animal. He is figuring out in real time when to trust his instincts to go for it and when to play it safe. It seems to have been working the last 1 1/2 games.

OK State defeated K-State 66-28 today to move to 6-3. No. 15 Texas Tech is in a shootout with W. VA. The Red Raiders visit Stillwater on Saturday, 11/14

OK State had a good loss at Houston, not a good loss at Iowa State, and the unfathomable loss to Tulane. But with a win tonight and on the 14th against TX Tech, the Cowboys would be 5-2 in the B12 with a chance of playing in the B12 championship game.

Boise State won today and could be in the PO committee's Top 25 this Tuesday.

OT but delightful. As head coach, Lane Kiffen is still 0 for Alabama. 😍

Danno? Who calls a fake punt with a D end throwing to another D end, and a TD play with players lined up sideline to sideline and the TE taking the snap from the center?

When these plays work, it's all good, at least until next Saturday vs. Michigan. The game kicks off at 12:30 Pacific on FS1.

With less than two minutes remaining, Michigan is behind visiting Michigan State.
