Dan Lanning calls Will Stein 'a perfect fit' as Oregon's offensive coordinator

 

Lanning, who had not spoken publicly since Stein's hiring earlier this month, described the process

of determining the next OC as "really thorough" and "really detailed".

 

Past hires have been reached in part thanks to prior relationships between head coach and prospective new staffer.

However, Lanning and Stein have no previous relationship. Lanning never allowed that to become an obstacle though.
