2026 BIG Info, Predictions, Etc. (9)
Rick Neuheisel predicts the Buckeyes will win the B1G conference title in 2026. A title Ohio State has not won since 2020. Who knew! Fine with me if the championship game is a rematch of the 2025 game between Indiana and Ohio State; Oregon as the 5th or 6th seed would be perfect. Give me a 1st-round game in Autzen vs the 12th or 11th seed. CBS Sports' 'Inside College Football' with Rick as one of the anchors is on Tuesday nights during the regular season. In my opinion, Inside College Football is the best of the weekly CFB programs. No bias shown to one conference or another. Although in the Big Ten Preview show, Rick noted that since CBS went B1G, the conference has won three Nattys, and some other conference once affiliated with CBS has won none. 😍 CFB-HQ On SIRick Neuheisel Makes Big Ten Championship Prediction Ahea...Some of college football's strongest powers in 2026 reside in the Big Ten. Times Square to Tokyo: How Oregon is Building a Global Brand
You’ve probably heard this one before: when Phil Knight is gone, Oregon football is done. It’s been repeated by opposing fans for years, and the assumption behind it is that Oregon has money because Phil Knight has money. Some people think that once Phil Knight is out of the equation, eventually, the Ducks will come crashing back down to earth. That argument has always ignored how much Oregon football has grown as a business in the last few decades. According to Yahoo Sports, in 2025 the football program generated $119.6 million in revenue, with a net of $58.8 million and expenses of $60.8 million. The Ducks aren’t being kept alive by checks from a billionaire donor, far from it. The program makes a lot of money on its own with ticket sales, merchandise and donations, but it needs more if it wants to stay ahead of the pack. Oregon is ranked 16th with an $880 million valuation and $169 million in 2024 revenue. That’s ahead of Washington at 24th for $795 million and Indiana at 27th for $775 million. The Ducks had a 13% increase in year-over-year value change, which is massive. On3Times Square to Tokyo: How Oregon is Building a Global BrandOver 40 years ago the Ducks played a game in Tokyo in front of 65,000 fans. Now they're trying to tap back into that market and go global.

Oregon has been close to the top of college football under Dan Lanning. In 2026, close may no longer be enough. The Ducks bring back one of the most complete rosters in the country, with Dante Moore at quarterback, plenty of skill talent and a defense built to contend deep into the College Football Playoff. In this Oregon football preview, we ask whether this is finally the team that gets over the hump, how the Ducks handle two coordinator changes, and why both of us ultimately see Oregon as the team to beat in the Big Ten. The regular season ceiling may be undefeated, but the real standard is what happens in January.

Dante Moore joins Yogi Roth to talk Friday Night Lights, giving back to high school football, his Detroit roots, and the mindset he is bringing into the season at Oregon. Yogi and Dante go deep on what Martin Luther King Jr. Senior High School meant to his football journey, why partnering with T-Mobile’s Friday Night Lights program matters to him, and how high school football memories continue to shape players long after they leave. Dante also opens up about the people who helped mold him, why “the company” matters more than the journey or destination, what he has learned from Dan Lanning, and how he is using his platform to talk more openly about pressure, mental health, goals, and growth. Why Dante Moore still feels connected to his high school football roots How T-Mobile’s Friday Night Lights program is giving one school $1 million in upgrades What Dante means when he says the company matters most How Dan Lanning inspired Dante to write down his goals again Why Dante has become more open about mental health and using his platform His advice to young quarterbacks chasing big goals and handling pressure

Oregon Ducks Practice Reports Updates, Etc. “2026” (9)
Thank you so much. I am really just trying to do the best I can. The one thing I have never done much of or really been good at is promting the work itself. I grind by nature. FWIW, this week I spent the last three days in Denver with my two sons watching baseball (Saw Ohtani have a two homer night Monday and another homer Tuesday). In Montana for the rest of the week to celebrate my granddaughter's birthday. But will absolutely have those practice reports and normal stories ready for everyone. I am grateful for your passion as well and am fortunate to be a part of this great group of fans!

And the beatdown of the NCAA goes on. The first thing we do is ... Greg, if this ruling is sustained, where are most of the once-former NFL players coming home to play another season of NIL ball? I wish I was in the land of cotton. 🤬

A Cautionary Tale of a QB's Transfer Portal Journey
Thanks, Steven A, for a post that had me LOL. 🤪 Poh wittle QB. Think Johnny Football would have liked to make a trip, no matter how long and how far, to find the gold at the end of today's NIL rainbow, and make-the-money A&M QB Marcel Reed (who can't hold Johnny's jock) is being paid to play? In other news: Jeff Bezos's wife is forcing him to redecorate his entire fleet of private aircraft, including the latest addition, an $80 million Gulfstream G700. What's next? Hiring Chip and Joanna to redecorate his fleet of Yachts? Some guys can't catch a break. 😁
