  1. Looks like San José State's fan base travels well.
  2. And USC comes in at a tie for 41st place... while UCLA has one more.
  3. This is where I stand. Boise State is a good team. Our starters need a lot of real game reps before USC. No matter the score, starters will play at least 3 quarters (with normal rotations). Plenty of opportunity to put in the 3s and 4s with Portland State to see who shines.
  4. Ducks undefeated. 12-0 Regular Season B10 Champs Win NCG 31-17 Offensive Average: 40.4 Defensive Average: 15.9
  5. I think many voters, with good reason, put anOSU in first and the Ducks in second because they play this year in oHIo. If they evenly matched and the home field is worth 3 points... If the Ducks come out of there with a one point win, the voters will switch the top two spots... ¡Then on to the B1G Championship game! (¿Another flip-flop?) ¡Then on to the National Championship game! Will three games decided by a total of 5 points really solve anything? If the Ducks come out on top in such a scenario I can't imagine whining coming out of Columbus.
  6. Oh, they'll be flocked up alright. Just wait 'til the flock attacks...
  7. So was Bryce Boettcher... at least the Colts thought so... (...but what do they know?)
  8. Thanks David! I don't think Lanning has a big game problem. As you point out, he has won big games. His first "big game loss" came against anOSU, but only after they beat that eventual national champion anOSU in the regular season. THAT was also a big game. After that game, once again, people were saying that Ryan Day still had a big game problem. Soooo, everyone thought that it was a big game. Lanning is still growing. Hopefully, he will continue to grow throughout his career. Nothing to see here. Can't wait to see Dan hoist the National trophy. That's just a saying. Of course I can and will wait... because I believe it will happen.
  9. This is something I would vote for... ...however, if they were only top 13 or 14 there would have to be some other compelling reasons to let them into the playoff.
  10. Not sure on how to come down on this. I´m not against the university suing. I´m happy they agreed to ask for $10,000 less than the contract required. It seems a little ticky-tack to be suing because the payment wasn´t received on time. I didn´t read all the details behind the paywall, but if they did receive the money, albeit late, why not drop the suit? This might be a bad look.
  11. One great thing when they go into fall camp... Our reconstructed O-Line will be going against one of the absolute best D-Lines in college football. That alone should forge them into a very good O-Line.
  12. True indeed! But last year we (collectively) had a hard time believing Brock Thomas was the best. I think we are starting to see now that he must have been.
  13. Brock was obviously ahead of Akili on this outing. He seems to be playing so well that I wonder if they are thinking to redshirt Raiola next year (he can play in 8 games, depending on how deep of a run the Ducks make), playing BT as the number 2 QB on most outings???? That would give Raiola 2 years to start if he needed/wanted them.
