Evidently tOSU Fans Aren’t Rocket Scientists and Like to Disrespect the Ducks.
Fans in general, and especially on message boards (excluding this one and few others) are general knuckleheads. There's no accountability, and you generally get little kids, or grown ups with Beavis and Butthead brain activity on there. It's why I always recommend to anybody going to a big road game, that they hold judgement of said fanbase till you go to a tailgating, or local sports bar. You'll meet real people, and most of the time they are awesome. Don't do what I said if you ever go to Europe for a "futbol" match. Opposing fans have separate get togethers, and stadium entrances/exits for a reason.

PRACTICE 11 REPORT: OREGON HAS MOVED FROM INSTALLATION TO CORRECTIONDan Lanning revealed that the first scrimmage is already changing how Oregon practices, Dante Moore is beginning to operate like a coach on the field, and Matayo Uiagalelei explained why the Ducks’ pass-rush goal is bigger than sacks. Eleven practices into camp, the most important development may be that Oregon is no longer simply collecting information. It is acting on it. For most of fall camp, Oregon has been trying to create possibilities. Gotta Love Cignetti...
In this day and age, Oregon is going to be a recruiting juggernaut regardless. I think Riley is a great offensive coordinator, but an okay CEO. If USC ever got a great CEO, that's when you should worry. I'd want Lincoln in LA for as long as possible as a Duck fan.

Oregon Dominates CBS Sports Preseason Honors with Dante Moore, Dan Lanning Leading the Way
Thanks, NJ. You are the Forum's Postest with the Mostest. 👌👍❤️ It looks like the memo finally reached CBS HQ, located in the Black Rock Building, 51 West 52nd Street, NYC, and CBSters finally understand that the SEC has left the building and the B1G boys have arrived. Dante at the top of the preseason QB pyramid, instead of some guy named after an island in the Caribbean, and a guy named after a hamburger joint with less than 24-carat golden Archies, is in sync with what NFL scouts have to say. When it comes to Dante, It Just Means Moore! I'm hoping Koi will indeed be a big fish in the Ducks' pond. I can't tell a lie: A'Mauri Washington and Brandon have a very good chance to Finney with the CFB Jackpot in Las Vegas. Unfortunately, I'll be here all weak. 😁

SI's Pat Forde Deep Dive Into CFB 2026 Schedules
"Two things matter in college football: your roster and your schedule." Coach Pepper Rodgers, RIP. It is most certainly not a fair fight when it comes to competing for a spot in a 12-team playoff, especially when losses count more in one conference than in another conference. Ohio State, Michigan, Oregon, and USC all have tough schedule rows to hoe. One of Miami and Notre Dame, with Charmin Soft schedules, should finish 12-0 and the other 11-1. Trust 13-people doing their business in the dark to come up with the best 12 teams? I have a bridge I'd like to sell you. Here are a couple of OBD-oriented questions for Mr. Forde on the cusp of the 2026 season. SUBJECT: Warm weather teams in November? OK, OBD is located in moderate-climate Eugene, Oregon, and not Tucson or Miami, but games at Ohio State on 11/7 and at Michigan State on 11/20 will not be played on the beach. SUBJECT: Hangover Games? How about Michigan at home after playing Ohio State in Columbus? Washington at home after a Friday night game at Michigan State? At Illinois after a home game vs Nebraska with the Illini coming off a bye? And then there's UW at home after a Friday night game at Michigan State, with UW being the eighth game in a row without a break? No excuses. Beat Boise! The 2026 Preseason AP Poll Is Out - 1st Impressions - Mine and I Hope Yours
Nothing overly surprising to me in this poll, great to be in the thick of things! Interesting that UW thinks year 3 of a coach means something in 2026. I thought Indiana winning it all last year in year 2 pretty much turned that model on its ear. Their 2025 and 2027 classes barely crack the top-25 with 2026 composite around #12. Their QB left…and came back. I guess I’m a bit skeptical and agree with their 7.5 O/U.

There’s no question regarding the SEC’s ability to gain more Nattys. However, their inability to accept where the B1G now stands reminds me of another Twain quote: “No amount of evidence will ever persuade an idiot.”

The road to the 2026 College Football Playoff starts right here. Today, Stewart Mandel and Ralph Russo are breaking down every angle of the newly released 2026 AP Preseason Top 25 Poll. Big Ten heavyweights Ohio State and Oregon headline the poll at No. 1 and No. 2. But does this mean the Buckeyes or Ducks can actually make the National Championship game? We deep dive into whether Marcus Freeman's Notre Dame Fighting Irish truly belong at No. 4, or if they are sitting in a preseason trap. Then, we flip the script to the Group of 6 (G6) preview. Stew and Ralph focus on the newly rebuilt Pac-12 conference and look at how Boise State is leading the pack after receiving the most votes outside the Top 25. We rank our top 3 CFP contenders from the G6 and close things out with a coaching special: which coaches could be on the move after the 2026 season wraps up?

Thanks, Gat. Cig is always entertaining, and his honesty and openness are refreshing. Hats off to SC for calling Notre Dame's and the majority of pundits bluff. It was all SC's fault that a traditional series was being canceled, right? SC is no longer in the Pac-12 and has to travel to the Eastern and Central Time Zones to play regular-season conference games. The Trojans were not going to add another trip to their schedule every other season to play Notre Dame in South Bend in October. Back to Cig. Indiana cancelled a H+H series with ND that would have started in 2030. With the cancellation, ND agreed to play SC earlier in the season. Notre Dame gets away with fraudulent scheduling, with the enabling ACC and Navy being annual ND punching bags. ND's 2026 strength of schedule is ranked in the high 60s, with 68 Power 4 teams. And these arrogant, entitled sons of Irish are in the PO if ranked 12th or higher? Why? Last year's Indiana 'at' Miami champ game drew millions more eyeballs than the 2024 Ohio State vs Notre Dame champ game. Cig's spot on. Join a conference! I'd love to see ND playing Ohio State's schedule this season. ND's three B1G opponents in 2026 are Wisconsin, Purdue, and Michigan State. That's some B1G scheduling voodoo.- Gotta Love Cignetti...
Bummer . . . not. No playoffs, no Riley. Then their coaching carousel begins and we benefit recruiting wise.- The 2026 Preseason AP Poll Is Out - 1st Impressions - Mine and I Hope Yours
Thanks, LH. UW plays three G6 teams OOC, starting with the Apple Cup vs Wazzu in Seattle. Odds on to start 3-0. UW is helped in 2026 by its two trips to the Eastern Time Zone being against Michigan State and Purdue. UW plays SC in LA the Saturday after Oregon visits the Trojans. And, of course, ends the season in Autzen. The other B1G road game is a winnable game at Nebraska. The Huskies miss Ohio State and Michigan and play Minnesota, Iowa, Penn State, and Indiana in Seattle. The Hoosiers visit the week before the Oregon game, with Oregon playing late Friday night in East Lansing, Michigan. As Ducks fans know, UW is a tough out in Seattle. Every team is undefeated, and it's all good for every team in the BTN Fall Camp visits. But Jedd Fisch is probably correct in noting that, in year three, he has his best and deepest roster, with an OL and DL that can stand up to play in the Big Ten. Demond Williams is one of the top QBs in CFB. UW has to replace a terrific WR in Boston and an RB in Coleman, but there is talent on the roster and four home games vs three G6 teams, and Minnesota to start the season should have things in sync before the Week 5 game at SC. I think UW wins at least eight games and could win ten games if it wins two out of three home games vs Iowa, Penn State, and Indiana. A fifth conference road game in 2026 doesn't help. The game at Nebraska, with UW coming off a bye week after playing at Purdue, could be the swing game between a decent and a very good season. The conference keeps getting better and deeper, especially after going 4-for-4 on new coach hires.- Gotta Love Cignetti...
To me, Cig and the Hoosier fan base are incredibly annoying. Jealousy? Some for sure. They could learn to win with a little more grace. Hope they get stomped into the dirt every week until they do.- Gotta Love Cignetti...
I still don't see why ND should get such a guarantee. Let them join a conference and fight it out the way other teams do. - The 2026 Preseason AP Poll Is Out - 1st Impressions - Mine and I Hope Yours
