I’d take it a step further, we were about to fully grab the momentum there, instead they scored 6 on the next play. Which is my point, that’s the stuff that happens when we play them. Make it stop.

I think OBD need some situational play calling improvement, more negative plays created by the D, and less penalties. There were a few times when we out schemed ourselves, particularly with going 0/3 on 4th down. We don’t need to act like we have Mike Leach level of talent and need to compensate. Line it up! IMO - the stats are actually pretty good for a first game with two new coordinators against a team we always struggle against. Held them under 300 total yards and 2.6 ypc, almost doubled them up on total yards. There seems to be collective amnesia that we have never beat BSU by more than 7 😆

Offense has been fine. Stats are fine. D needs to actually create a negative play once in a while. We’re giving up 2.9 YPC, gaining 5.8 YPC. Have double the passing yards. TOP and zero turnovers the biggest factor so far.

Aside from rushing being light, the first half stats were perfectly fine. We only gave up 140 total yards. Dante threw for 163.

Hopefully we learn not to schedule these guys moving forward, regardless of the outcome. We’re 1-3 against them and the only win was the year we went undefeated…and we still needed a freaking miracle to beat them. For whatever reason, learn, adapt, and quit scheduling these guys. Accept it 😂
