I do too. I don't think this season would do a lot to impress NBA scouts and next season with a hopefully better functioning team would improve his stock. There is still twitter activity about even a couple more recruits joining next season's class and Altman has always been active with transfers. Finish this season as well it can and on to 22-23.

Last season Oregon State won the Conference Tournament, made it to the Elite 8. This season they won 1 conference game, lost their last 18 in a row and Wayne Tinkle's seat isn't even warm, there is no better illustration of the gap between Oregon and Oregon State than this. We saw in another topic the tweet from a "fan" who thought now was a time for Oregon to look for a replacement for Altman. Fortunately, his is a lone voice. Oregon never really got it going this season, but a couple of different bounces and this unsatisfying season has the Ducks with 22 wins and safely in the NCAA's Next season's recruiting class is one of the best in the country and definitely "In Altman we trust"

Absolutely agree. There will be no parity in CFB as long there are separate conferences all looking out for their own best interests. this problem was exacerbated by the CFP which made getting into the CFP the end all of the season. The only way parity can exist at all, short of the Super Conference is to have all the conferences come together under one governing body, The SEC and B1G will still have their inherent advantages but there would be unform schedules and a playoff determined by winning the conference not a committee,

It is. But there is no doubt in my mind that expanding the CFP to more than 4, and pretty much the same 4 -6 teams every year is about more than just $. A level of apathy has already taken over 94% of the fanbases across the country that affects not only the championship but the regular season as well. Expand the CFP to include the P5 conference winners the interest/excitement across the country will expand with it. Alabama, Georgia, the regular's will certainly be the favorites, but even if they end up winning in an expanded field doesn't mean it was a mistake to add more teams.

I can appreciate a coach that understands a team breaking in a new coach, new coaching staff, new QB, new RB's, a talented but young D, still has a ways to go before being as good as the defending champion. But I have no doubt that he likes what he has at Oregon now and believes he will have them ready for every game on the schedule and is building a championship level team.

Oregon will not be alone in receiving an invitation to the NIT from the Pac-12. I expect WSU and Colorado, unless they win the conference tournament and get into the NCAA's, to be invited to the NIT.

Definitely bad news, anytime a team loses its Ace. But they've been doing great this season, Yanez will be back next season, time for the pitchers this season to step up.
