When Michigan was at Autzen to play Da Ducks, I walked out that day with a crackling ringing in my ears that lasted at least a couple of days... It was so loud it hurt. I want to be reminded of that feeling again every game I see at Autzen.

My back muscles were so much stronger than my core that I developed a severe case of sciatica. It got bad enough my doctor said I looked like I had cerebral palsy when I walked. Luckily, I was able to control it with a ridiculous amount of core conditioning (like at least 200 crunches a day in my 40's). It lasted long enough that I will forever have a high level of empathy for anyone who suffers chronic back pain.
