Because the clock keeps running it will be difficult to 1: get enough possessions and 2: score 70 points. We're extremely fortunate to be averaging almost 48 pts/game and that's primarily due to the PSU game. Without that game we'd be in the low to mid 40s per game

one of the keys is that we have 8 or 9 defensive lineman who can "PLAY". It allows for more rest and staying fresh when they do get in. It's the best collection of D linemen I've seen since I saw my first game at Hayward field in 1963 (when Oregon crushed the Beavers and didn't have Mel Renfro play that day)

I certainly enjoy USuCs problems........but I must add that think that the ducks will roll them up is a major mistake. Just having a qb that can do what he does is concerning. Average D with a great qb is still a dangerous team.

I was at the game. Bill Enyart was amazing in the mud. It was rumored that Dee A had cattle on the field for a number of days before. The cheerleaders were throwing small cartons of orange juice into the student section. A mud bowl of the first order and OJ was v good but not good enough.......Beavers prevailed by 3
