  1. This whole issue really jerks my jowls. For me, this targeting is the one issue that should mandate heavier penalties due to the amount of risk and potential permanent injury. So far, in my opinion the punishment does not fit the crime. The rules need to consider at least three things; intent, the act, and taunting/celebration. Once again, in my opinion, in addition to personal foul and ejection from the game, the smallest/shortest penalty for the perpetrator should be at least missing as many games as the injured player. For yesterday's debacle, the USC player should have been denied re-entry to the sideline AND suspended for the rest of the year or invountarily placed in the transfer portal. P.S. - this is not the first time my hat band and underwear have been too tight! simultaneously .......
  2. During Fall camp Lanning periodically mentioned this team is becoming more player led. I can see how this might tie into changing coordinators and continuity of x's & o's. Might the uninspired play be linked to lack of focused leadership and inspiration in the locker room, sideline and game? Go Ducks!!
  3. Great work everyone. Now let's see if speed kills or wins a Natty ...... or both???
  4. Mike, awesome and timely article. Put me in coach, I'm ready (along with a few bars of "Centerfield" by CCR).
  5. Mr Toll needs a new podcast ... "Locked on LSD with STEROIDS".
  6. Need clarification. Which country? SEC country??? Please Paul, be specific ..... the devil is in the details. Try not to leave us in suspense, inquiring minds want know. Or maybe, just maybe, he is performing his act of "CARNAK The Magnificent" (Johnny Carson) and obtusely predicting another failure of the SEC. Oh my!
  7. Dante Moore has finally caught virtually everybody's attention. David Pollack says Dante never blinks and has a resting heart rate of 20. Someone else coined him "THE MOTOR CITY MAGICIAN!!!" Finally, he gets some noteworthy attention. I can't wait for next game.
  8. Hey, isn't that an insult to Spam? Just kidding. But excellent point!
  9. Did Dante just sign left handed? And throws right handed. I'm impressed even more!!
  10. Is the play calling such that opposing DC's do not have much of anything on Dante's maturity in the pocket and think they can storm the bastille and rattle our young quarterback? My money is on the sneaky dudes ..... Lanning and Stein. GO DUCKS!!
  11. Good call Charles. Which one is Saban again ....... Beavis or Butthead? Are Saban and Sankey brothers? They whine alot and sure pedal loads of BS!
  12. At the risk of sounding naive or uninformed, can someone please tell me what the source is for the NIL numbers being thrown around so loosely in the media? I realize ON3 and perhaps others are generating/fabricating NIL values but I have not heard or seen any verifiable source(s) for individual or total player expenditures by collectives or schools.
  13. "has been" ...... past tense. Enough said?
