What astounds me is the reviewed calls they blow. How can you look at something obvious and screw it up? Oh yea, the tiny screens probably black and white too! %$&@*%^#!!!!!

That is because we have sc selling we should be good, the dawgs selling we use to be good, ucla selling we are prettier than the rest, WSU selling we are farther away from the rest, osu selling we are lunch pail tough, Cal selling wow, we are in California, Stanford just selling to the smart kids, and the Arizona schools just selling climate and comfort, while Utah just develops 3* talent, which I respect, and Colorado, who knows. Oregon is the only college which really stand out to recruits and is committed to winning with the facilities and coaches to compete. We need sc to realize they really should be good, and start to compete. The rest don't matter, because, as we all know the dogs never were really good, and the rest can just get lucky every once in a while. We need sc and Oregon to dominate and create a unique name out west. Until then football out west will just be an annoyance to the real ball being played east of the Mississippi. As has been stated, the next few years will be critical for Oregon to really step up, and or sc to come alive and make a game of it.

I think it is important to realize Washington is a school where the women rule. Don't extend the fact the men at Washington can't compete to the women. While the men, boys really, do suit up for division 1 sports it is the women who actually compete. I mean what man really wears purple anyway? Prince, pretty amazing, but not really an athlete. Barney, amazing kids character, but not really something you fear, other than the creepy factor. So the men can't compete, but the women of Washington have won titles, and occasionally do look good in purple.

And because it never rains at Autzen they might even see a few. Unfortunate time for a game, but should be an epic night for a football game!

Great, but scary article David. I agree with the many who have lived through the rivalry not really being a rivalry both ways. When the dawgs were winning, and you experienced that, you will never think this isn't a rivalry. It is a perpetual struggle and until you realize this, you don't really understand a rivalry. Nike understands a rivalry, and never loses the long game. Reebok rises up and Nike destroys them. Adidas is, like the dawgs, an old guard, and Nike just keeps punishing them. Football, like business, is where you don't just defeat your enemy, you keep at it until they are dead, or they rise back up. I am actually afraid of a generation which doesn't understand the eternal struggle which is a rivalry. I hope, what I saw on Saturday, the willingness to go for the kill shot continues when we play the dawgs. Only then will I know we can stay on top and keep beating the dawgs. I can guarantee you there was a time when the dawgs didn't really look at the Ducks as a rival. Much of the same language was used, maybe they are just a nuisance? Then the pick happened and it all changed. I don't ever want to see that go the other way, we need to stay vigilant, stay true to the battle!

His statistics area as follows 9-9 in field goals, with a longest of 49 yards 40-41 extra points He is also on the Pac-12 honor roll with in excess of a 3.75 GPA. With these statistics he seems to exceed or meet other kickers on your semifinalist list. Thanks for considering this amazing young student athlete!

What about a campaign to get Camden Lewis on the Lou Groza watch list? He is 9-9 in field goals with his longest at 49 yards He has made 40-41 PAT's 27 of his 60 Kick offs haven't been run out. What is it going to take to get this young man some recognition, an email campaign to jfleet@palmbeachsports.com This is the email you send info on who should be considered, why not! His stats are as good if not better than some of the semifinalists.

Interestingly he wasn't even on the original list. AB's stock is rising, as are the Duck's! I can't wait for one of our top recruits to make the list, but this is just a continuation of our history. We have continually been a qb making factory. Little known, and lightly recruited kids continue to come to Oregon, and become names on the national stage. AB is just the latest, congrats!

Agree completely, Lake knew how to beat the cougs. The question is can the defense figure out how to crack this open code. I think DeRuyter is up to the task. Fortunately the cougs know how to beat themselves. So far the Ducks haven't been on the end of this help too often. We will need to win this game.

If we win it all Moorhead can write his own ticket anywhere. The question I have is, does Moorhead have the ability to turn AB into a title winning QB? So far Moorhead seems to be figuring out how to best use AB. I look forward to seeing how far Moorhead can get AB to carry the Oregon Football Program, and figure out how to keep winning. I do agree, with most, Dye is the most amazing athlete on offense, but we have to respect what AB has done, so far. It would be a story seldom if ever told, where a guy with so many limitation leads a team to a title, but can he be our Tim Tebow? Actually his stats aren't even up to Tim's level, but can a guy without NFL level talent lead our team to a title, fun to think about.

Might have to be a surprise inside this time!

I was actually just trying to be funny, which isn't easy. The whole GOAT thing, to me, is kind of like chasing ones tail. Nothing ever is going to be settled, but it does provide a workout, I suppose. One would have to ask a dawg.

So Washington and Washington State both have football programs without a head coach, and the season isn't even over. I mean it is the Pac-12 but only 9 have coaches who started the season, talk about a crazy year.

Saban isn't even the best coach ever at the college he is coaching at let alone the best ever.

Sounds like if we need help at qb he could do that too. The guy is a gamer, who knows the game of football, love the guy! Heyward picked up a gem for us with this guy!

Why not just about every other University has had success hiring a Duck. If you can't beat them, hire them.

Deep down, hmmm. Deep down I won't be satisfied until the the dawgs lose to the cougs in Seattle on November 26th. There was a sense of satisfaction and relief, but deep down I want to see the dawgs down further, is it just me? I'm just trying to get real with my emotions, my internal feelings, you asked!

While I agree it doesn't take away from their difficult schedule it is the way the SEC schedules, which matters. New Mexico State is almost a program kept afloat just so the SEC can have a pansy. Alabama would never schedule an Eastern Washington after playing Georgia, because EWU knows how to win games, compete. They especially wouldn't schedule EWU between playing Georgia and BYU. I realize this is a different subject, but the Pac-12 and Oregon needs to get with the scheduling advantage many SEC teams have. They put pansy's into their schedules because they play a tough schedule. The tough games make them look good. The pansy games don't do anything other than help them get ready, which we aren't and maybe this contributes. I suppose we play more of a schedule like Clemson. Even Clemson, during their National Title Year 2018, played two pansies between beating Texas A&M in Texas. All that mattered was they beat T A&M, not that they beat two irrelevant teams in before and after. We will do it Mario's way, but playing tough games matter, certainly, but the pansy games is how it all comes together.

It is nice to know feelings are being protected by the refs, that had to hurt! Maybe the ref should have given the LB a participation trophy as well? This is football, people get dominated and the paternal, maternal instincts to protect must be put into check! PS. Women refs wear pants too, and I have seen some excellent female refs, maybe the Pac-12 should look to finding some female refs, not meant to offend anyone!

I do think a better understanding of the SEC scheduling needs to be understood. While Alabama plays a tough schedule, don't get me wrong, their next opponent is 1-8 New Mexico State. They put games into the end of the season so they can be ready for the tough games. New Mexico State has had a winning season once, in over 20 years, by the way. Playing opponents who have won, know how to win, can create losses, from mistakes. When you put a team on your schedule who really is pathetic, the risk for injury, mistakes and the preparedness needed, just isn't there. This allows a team to focus on winning the big games, which they have. In the Pac-12 we play teams week in and week out who can beat anyone given the opportunity. Anyone who plays Utah at Eccles Stadium can lose, just ask Michigan, and out of conference teams don't want to play there. This happens week after week, with, of course, like any conference, games you really have to try and lose to, Colorado this year. So Alabama should be respected, but we also need to understand how they schedule. Maybe, just maybe the Pac-12 can learn from the SEC in how to make their teams look even better than, maybe they are. I also agree, if Oklahom wins out, they are in. I think the voters for the playoffs know this, and the door is wide open for Oklahoma and deservedly so.

I get the pressure Cristobal feels, but what I worry about is getting into a hole we can't get out of. My main concern is getting behind, a coming opponent, and having to pass our way back into the game. This isn't something we can do, like in the past with our riflemen at qb. First off I still worry greatly about AB's interceptions. I hope Moorhead sees what other defenses see in AB's patterns and vulnerabilities. The Dawgs picked off AB with little effort, just get into his blind spot on a sideline pass. Stanford picked him off and should have again, and I could go on. The other item which worries me is Mr. Dye and his fumbles. As much as I love this warrior, he has a propensity to fumble. He more than makes up for this weakness, but it is a weakness, as I see it. The scenario I worry most about is losing the turnover battle and then having to battle back with a game plan this team doesn't have, against a decent passing defense, and game plan. So, I agree, there is huge pressure on Cristobal. I don't mean to be insensitive, but the pressure I feel is knowing this team can win it all, but lose it all with how susceptible we are to losing the turnover battle, and then the battle to win, even against the teams we face going forward.

There is plenty to criticize, from his timeouts, to his at times, seemingly extreme conservative guidance of a once dynamic offense. But with that said, what do you most like about Mario! My biggest like is his winning. Plain and simple, I don't always love the way he has Oregon win, but you can't argue with the outcome he has had after the utter destruction of our once proud program. We are back and going the right direction under Mario's leadership. Just liking his winning worries me a bit, but I do like his earnest intensity. I suppose that kind of defines him as a person. When you look at the guy he seems to ooze integrity and a drive to succeed. The success is what attracts me to his coaching, but I do appreciate having a coach who seems so intensely driven to get us to where we all want the Oregon Football Program to get too. I love the guy, Go Ducks!
