Would Oregon Fan Base Welcome Nix in 23?
Based on what I've seen, yes. Nix is third on Auburn's all-time passing yards list. THIRD! Loyalty is all but out the window in sports. Nix could opt for the NFL AND Thompson and Butterfield could enter the portal. I heard a rumor that the Sears Christmas catalog is now the NCAA Portal opportunities catalog.

Arizona Kickoff Time...Not Completely Terrible...
Thanks for the heads up @Charles Fischer . I checked ESPN and didn't see details past this Saturday, so I wasn't sure if I wanted to pay to watch FS1 Saturday. Now I know I'll be using Sling Blue and Orange for the season starting next Saturday since they will be on the Pac-12 network, carried by almost NoOne! I'm guessing Oregon will be on a major network against UCLA, though.

Best Question / Most Telling (Hilarious) Answer from MC Post Game Presser
A truly noble and challenging question. I was holding out hoping he could right the ship, but the writing was on the wall when the QB situation was suspect. In the end a lot of the poking is mostly coming from "we were right" and Miami fans didn't take our word for it. It is astounding that Miami is experiencing not one, not two but NUMEROUS issues that were pointed out from the first timeout of Mario's Oregon stint. If Mario turns his train wreck around and Miami fans gloat, I'll be fine with it abd happy for him. I think a lot of folks would like to see Oregon play Miami in the playoffs. So we can show them what an offensive hurricane really looks like.

Best Question / Most Telling (Hilarious) Answer from MC Post Game Presser
After all the OBD FishDuck comments and articles I've seen, I am convinced if MC would actually let his staff do their jobs knowing they will mistakes at times, he could have a national contender in a short time. But, he'll never get there under his current game philosophy, which results in a high turnover rate. Moorehead took a huge step down. I don't blame him. But, the real question no one may ever know is what caused the hospitalization right before last year's Stanford game? I do feel sorry for Mario, but his pride is hurting himself and a lot of other people.

Pac 12 Refs
It will never make sense. WSU coach Dickert said he brought this up at the time. You could see the conversation during the broadcast. Here is what should have happened. WSU should have been able to challenge the down number by having it reviewed. It would not have taken the replay official much time to go back and look at the series to determine they missed a down before allowing the officials to jump to third down. If the coach doesn't want to challenge, then nothing should be done. They play on. Going back 2 or more plays, though, has disaster written all over it, in my opinion.

Is Oregon STILL a Conference Champion Contender to You?
Almost word for word how I feel.

Miami Got Beat by..Middle Tennessee?
"Timeout! Okay, so should we run up the middle. Orrrrr, should we run up the MIDDLE?"

Miami Got Beat by..Middle Tennessee?
That's sad. Sorry to hear that.

A great recruiter, but not a great retainer, in my opinion. Companies need great sales people, but if the product or service sucks, then customers walk.

It's About Time That we had a New Conversation About Oregon QB Bo Nix
That "in game" comment was appropriate. Those kinds of comments feel like we are sitting in the bleachers together. I try to hold my emotions in check, but it's very difficult coming from the Grey beard culture where we were coached much more harshly than today. Anyway, I want Bo's Oregon experience to be the highlight of his life. I LOVED seeing Thompson and Butterfield rally around him on field right after the win. That tells me a LOT about all three of those souls.

ESPN Recaps Missing Only For Duck Games?
Yes, I'm referring to the online recap. Good thought regarding Fox games, but the Maryland vs Michigan and the Kansas St vs Oklahoma recaps are there. Hmmmmmm...🙈🙉🙊

ESPN Recaps Missing Only For Duck Games?
With the exception of the Oregon vs Georgia game, ESPN has not provided a game recap for the subsequent Oregon games. I spot checked several other games and didn't see any missing recaps. What the Duck?

Are You Aware of These Accomplishments from Today's Game?
Oregon punted twice and used 2 punters.

Fun statistic. Bucky Irving's QBR was 99.6 😀

Dillingham's Passing Attack Unveiled and Impressive
And what would his percentage be if he didn't have to throw it away. Adjustments were made in the 2nd half. The 1st half blitzes were Kamikaze like. WSU won in the trenches at the goal line. 2nd half was a different story and that first TD to start it put everyone watching on notice. Kelly's teams OFTEN sputtered the first half. Then adjustments were made and the opposition got burned out. WSU are Cougars for a reason. Controlling them is like trying to herd cats. Taggart was a prophet when he said, "Buckle up." It's gonna be a wild ride. I'm loving this season! Go Ducks

Pac 12 Refs
I'll bet Mike Leach is texting the Pac-12 with the same question right now from Mississippi. It's insanity. And the second versions of 3rd and 4th downs were virtually repeats of the first versions. Can you imagine watching the game while the audio is muted, running to the restroom after the first 4th down punt, coming back to the TV, only to see it play out again?

Pac 12 Refs
Referee: "What's up?" Replay booth: "Uh, hate to say this but second down was actually first down. We have to replay third down." Referee: "Is that so? Yeeeeeah, we aren't doing that." That's how the NFL handles it, I'm pretty sure. 😀

Miami Got Beat by..Middle Tennessee?
"It was a butt-kicking from the very beginning," Blue Raiders coach Rick Stockstill said.

Pac 12 Refs
I've heard almost every fan feels their conference refs are horrible. I think the most egregious action was when Pac-12 called into a game from headquarters , "the center", to influence a referee decision regarding targeting. It involved Leach and WSU. The Pac-12 added a PR nightmare to its officiating problems WWW.COUGCENTER.COM Officiating is about perception, and the Pac-12 continues to bungle its handling of a game that happened a month ago.

Talk About a Road Scare!!!
I give a LOT of credit to WSU. Their defense won the first half. Their offense was very creative. The Ducks rolled on offense the majority of the game, but the Cougars were beasts in the red zone the first half. The Ducks made some adjustments and the Cougars didn't have as much gas at the end. WSU's pace may be the fastest the Ducks see until next year. Their offense will tear a lot of other teams apart. Oregon's D line put pressure on Ward causing numerous 3rd and very long situations. That was a key to staying in the game and why Funa was able to seal the game. Give credit to Ward for his God given talent and creativity. No one in CFB did the things we saw him do in one game today. But he showed he's not perfect, either. Oregon's secondary made a lot of quick hits on short to mid distance passes to keep the number of explosive plays to a minimum. The D shut down the run and got the only 3 and out at just the right time. Yes, Oregon shot themselves in the webfoot too often, but they did exactly what they needed to do to win in the end. Not unlike almost many good football teams in the course of a game. They're still not playing at the national champion level, yet. But if Oregon were a stock, I'm buying! Go Ducks!!
