  2. I am too. However, the only reason the SEC changed their mind was because they went to a 9 league game schedule and saw what it does to the top 12.

  6. Riley "I thought defensively we dominated maybe 90 percent of the plays in the game." "We did some really good things in the run game." I guess not having -18 yards rushing is the threshold 🤣 Take out the -57 Maiva had and SC bludgeoned Wisc for 40 on 20 carries. Lincoln Riley continues to say delusional comments about the USC vs. Wisconsin game
  7. "This is where I want to be" But what he is really thinking "except I came here thinking I was avoiding the SEC and then got snookered when I ended up in the BIG." "I've had plenty of chances to leave" But what we are thinking is "Thank goodness you didn't" And what SC fans are thinking "Then why didn't you?" 9. Players react to Moore and Mehringer situations. Oregon players react to Dante Moore news and Jay Johnson calling plays On the Play-Calling Change Jordon Davison: "He's pretty straight to the point. He's a great guy, and he obviously had great players at Michigan State. He had a Doak Walker Award winner and, I think, a 4,000-yard passer. So his history is great, and his track record is great. I'm excited to see what he does with the offense."
  10. Desperate times, Maryland going to a lottery for free tuition for staying to the end of the game. Maryland offers shot at free tuition for staying until 4th vs. Illinois - ESPN FYI, I think it was 1970 Jack Nicholson was directing a BBall movie, "Drive he said" (don't bother checking the Academy records) staring former UCLA star Mike Warren and Karen Black. For the crowd scenes in Mac Court, they lotteried a VW bug if you were there for all filming days. This was during the Nixon Cambodia crisis and there were student demonstrations on Agate Street. Tear gas and a new DuPont product, pepper gas, were deployed. Nicholson got his camera crew there to film and had Warren join the students. When all was said and done, Jack posted bail for all those arrested. After the Daily Emerald ran photos, DuPont offered $5,000 for the rights to the gassing photos for PR, which was politely turned down.

  18. Okay, so we have lost three games this year that we shouldn’t have. Only one with our starting QB. Of those, two are to now ranked teams and the other loss is now in the first non-ranked loss of Lanning’s career. Do you know how many other fan bases would kill for that. Last count 135 out of 135. Lanning has now made one bad hire, promoted from within. Promoting within will get you good assistants that think they have a chance to advance as opposed to avoiding you since you don’t promote from within. And I’m sure once bitten, Dan has now learned a lesson in regard to searching outside also. This is the year to have a Mulligan year, the last year of the 12 team playoff. Only four teams made the first two 12 team playoffs: Georgia and Indiana which will probably make it three in a row, Oregon and Ohio St. which without Sayin will probably go the way of the Ducks and sit this year out. Many of us Grey Beards longed for just a bowl game in the ole days. So, even with a disappointment this year, it is still a GREAT time to be a Duck. So, if you are thinking about getting off the Oregon or the Lanning bandwagon, don’t let the rear wheels hit you on the way off . . . Better yet, go ahead and let them hit you.
