Some great stuff in the article about the two new coordinators, and I gotta say that Hampton has just killed-it on the recruiting trail with defensive backs.

We have half the depth at offensive line that DBs do, as their talent stacked up is crazy. Oregon has never recruited this good at DB with both HS and transfers as we are doing now with Hampton.

I can see a value in having everyone on staff being familiar with all systems. Especially the multiple years that bond coaches together speeds reaction time in the heat of the battle. Not only during the game, but more will get done in game planning and practices.

If also like to mention that this young guy Koa Ka'ai just landed us Will Mencl a rivals 5 star QB. Clearly he knows something and isn't messing around.

We'll see how this year turns out but I'm feeling pretty good after the spring game. All the QBs looked poised and sure they got sacked 20 times but they don't have an offensive line yet.

Until he proves otherwise, it is "in Lanning we trust" in my house.

He is one of the most amazing, successful young coaches ever.

If he promoted these guys, I'm a believer. His coaching selections have all been excellent.
