The sale has happened, and they have not shut us down yet on this address yet, but we are being proactive and moving it ourselves today, sometime today...probably tonight.

They may not shut things off at this address until Monday, or may do it in five minutes--who knows? But we are getting it done today, so we can also move the article site to the forum also.

I signed in once with discussobd.com. That brought me to the same place, that is, here. Next time I hit the same football icon I have always used and came right here. It’s 10:35 p.m. on Saturday. Are we there yet? Or, maybe, Are we here yet? How do we know whether or when we get to the new site? Or, is this the new site and I’m too stupid to know the difference?

We have not made the change yet. So when you now put in discussobd.com you will be automatically redirected to this original web address. When we make the change on Sunday--the new address will work.

Charles, the two worst things about losing you as the site owner are: 1. The monitors controlling those posters who say things that should not be said, and 2. Missing your incisive comments and replies. Please advise on those two concerns.

I have written about this so many times, and I just don't think a number of people are going to understand until it happens, they come to the new address, and see that...."Oh, the forum looks the same! Charles is still here as before...nothing has changed except the web address going from forum.fishduck.com to discussobd.com and that is it!"

Yep.

The forum will look as it does now, it is like we are moving a comfortable house to a new location. We will still reside in the house, but just in a new address. I have NOT sold the forum, thus I will, as an old saying goes...."darken your door" via this forum for a long time.

Once the move happens I will explain more, but for now--take down the new web address, my new email address and my phone number to be on the safe side.
