Here are just a few thoughts I have for the game tomorrow.

Final Thoughts and Prediction for Oregon vs Oklahoma State

As we gear up for another game tomorrow here are some of my final thoughts and things I’m looking for in tomorrow’s game.

Nice post. I think the final score and stats will take care of themselves and leave us fans happy. The main things I'm looking for are:

1. Offensive line control. Game 1 gets a pass to figure things out. Game two needs to show some dominant results.

2. Defense gets off the field. Last week's game started off with an early 3rd and 9 which was easily converted on the way to giving up an opening drive touch down setting up the tone for the rest of the game. If 3rd and 9 becomes 4th and 9, the entire game would have looked totally different.

3. OC/ DC improvement. It was game one for both coordinators and I think they both started off with a better safe than sorry approach which is understandable. This week I want to see more assertive game plans and adjustments. Bring some heat on 3rd and 9. Let's see a punishing vertacle passing game.

Wounded Cowboys making a stand at their ranch. A new and unsettled O-line that will hear Autzen-like noise when on the field. First time on the road for two new coordinators—a '9 AM' kickoff. 10 penalties at home; on the road?

A positive? Big Ten refs will call the game; pray it's not the crew we saw in Autzen last Saturday.

Noon Saturday in Stillwater - 95 degrees, 60%+ humidity, thunderstorms that could delay the start of the game or delay the game once it has started.

It is what it is, and I certainly hope OBD covers the -23.5.

You should never schedule Boise State, period!

Why schedule OK State? A series that Rob scheduled before the Mullet was scalped.

USC's three OOC games before hosting Oregon: San Jose State, Fresno State, and Louisiana from the Sun Belt, all in LA, and there's also a road game at Rutgers. (Could Rutgers defeat SC's three OOC opponents?)

With its conference SOS in 2026, SC goes 10-2, and it's a PO lock. Ditto Ducks.

Whether or not SC makes the PO, no one (except for those os us who dislike Linc and the SUCs) will remember thousands of fans disguised as empty seats in Week 0.

Fortunately, the Baylor series was dropped. The weather in Waco, Texas, in early September is also intolerable.

Before CFB goes to a 24-team PO and 10 P4 opponents are mandated, the Art of the Scheduling Deal matters a great deal.

Watch out for lightning and Lasso the Cowboys!

I think it's going to be high scoring game.

Mestermaker had a bad first game with his receivers relative to what he did at Texas, and we shouldn't expect them to have 5+ turnovers, so I think they do much better at home and put up some points going through the air.

I don't think their defense is likely to give up a lot of big plays, and I expect once the game is out of reach we will keep the starting OL in to help them further gel and Raiola with come in and still light it up with the second string WRs, and the backup RBs will have a field day.

We shall see.

I saw a statistical breakdown of Mestermaker that basically showed how bad he was under pressure. And the result was.... Really really bad under pressure.

If the defensive line can get consistent push it's not going to be pretty for him.
