Rumor: Dante Not Returning

Featured Replies

No.

I'm seeing suggestions that Dante Moore may not return to play for the Ducks this year, (George Whrister for one).

Anyone have more info?

If so, how do we feel about this? Is it time to give Akili Smith a chance? Are we just throwing in the towel for the season?

I for one would be disappointed.

Thoughts? Insights?

No.

ASjr should get some snaps in each game thats left.

I certainly wouldn't blame him. No point in hurrying back from a concussion with no shot at the playoffs. Rest up and prepare for the draft.

I definitely would like to see some of Akili if he's at all ready to be out there.

I can’t blame Dante at all if he decides to sit. Lannning put together a $50M team and led it with papier-mâché coaches. Live and learn.

As for AS jr, let’s see. Every QB OBD has put out there this year has looked anywhere from bad to horrendous. This team has been beaten by two back up QBs including a freshman.

I’m done with the excuses why he shouldn’t start let alone play. Oregon’s QBR this year is somewhere between the bottom of the Marianna Trench and the center of the earth.

Let him play and keep him out there until he accumulates over seven turnovers which has already been accomplished this year.

No.

I think it would help Dante's draft stock if he returned to help the Ducks win their remaining games.

If he doesn't return by choice, then I will have some questions about him being a "team player" and his "brotherhood" with those on the team.
