IMO, it all starts with a running game to open up the pass game. If the offensive line struggles and/or the opposing teams D is pressuring the qb, you need a scrambling qb to offset the o line and get receivers open. We've had qb's that did just that and it worked. Include a few plays with ASjr he could help get a run game going. He's really the only qb we have that can do so. Illinois is starting a frosh qb, but he's dual threat.

It seems that a qb that can scramble and create would be what wee need. Dante isnt great at scrambling but good enough occasion. He was hurt running the football. Is AS junior even available this year?

They are missing their Quarterback and have new coordinators. Plus on the offensive side they are still very young. Plus, when a team goes through some struggle the fans perspective most always changes.

Im not sure Dante is the type that covets going #1-3 in the draft. Chances are he hooks up with a better team the farther he falls in the draft. Im not sure he would want to even start in his first year.
