Nice to see Oregon in the top 25. The losses were pretty ugly. To be at 23 feels really good.

I'm really surprised with this. Not complaining, but still. Is this just to bolster Ohio state's resume?

Which 2 or 3 loss teams would you put above No. 23?

2 losses:

Northwestern

SMU

Duke

Va Tech

3:

Nebraska

Louisville

Baylor

Michigan

Wisconsin

Oklahoma State

Pitt

Illinois

Washington

I find it amazing we are in the CFP top 25. We look awful. Objectively speaking, it has to be they consider our talent the factor. We couldn't have looked any worse than gifting UCLA undefeated status and making Illinois look like a decent team.

We don't even know which team will show up this week. Or should I say I don't? I expect Matt Patricia will bring the house on Raiola. They are going to make him play off balance, and they have the talent to give him more problems than they gave Hoover in Bloomington.

I hope we go under center more to run bootlegs, and move the pocket. An angry and motivated Buckeye team is going to do their best to embarrass us. If we actually had decent blitz packages, now would be the time. Since we don't, I really hope our Draft caliber DEs bring the juice. They will be our Obi Wan Kenobi this week.

Thanks, my thoughts are posted in a separate thread.

If this was next year's playoff format, we would be in!

We all know the Ducks are not playing well as a team except in short bursts, but the individual physical talent is there.

Oregon this year is not losing like it used to lose decades ago.

LSU 2011 - Ducks got bulldozed by more physical linemen.

Auburn 2010 - even if Dyer was down, Auburn was running it down their throats at the end of the game.

Ohio St Rose Bowl 2009 - Terell Pryor running over defenders to get first downs.

This year's problem is bits and pieces and lack of coordination - not getting pummelled by bigger stronger monsters.

Oregon can turn a lot of it around by the post season - where ever they end up.

By the time the regular season ends, I would think that if Oregon replayed any of the losses so far, they would win.
