DC Chris Hampton: Yay or Nay?

Now officially 9 games into the season I think we have enough to start grading the performance of Chris Hampton. His defense started out rough and discombobulated the first few games but the last several weeks has seen significant improvement to the point where it's been carrying the team on more than a few occasions.

Most notably, I've been noticing some good and timely in-game adjustments after being pounded by offenses like Northwestern to start the game.

Some of this could be attributed to DL's participation in the evolution of the schemes and play calling. However it seems that CH has taken that and kept it rolling.

I think he's made the case to be retained as DC for next season. What say you?
