November 27, 20214 yr No. Now if we can get these kids to finish off mediocre teams by mid third quarter... They got better. Now they need to get the knife out quickly and guy teams they're better than ASAP. That is the next level I want to see MC get to. Nine thousand points on offense a game, three points on defense. November 27, 20214 yr No. Oh, I guess they decided that it wasn't targeting... anyone have insight on the targeting rule in general? It's quite confusing how it's enforced

November 27, 20214 yr No. I really feel like you shouldn't pull all your starters when you only have a 9pt lead. I get what y'all are saying though. Edited November 28, 20214 yr by Krsmqn

November 28, 20214 yr No. I love the passion, but the beavs are looking like Erickson's thugs. I suppose the beavs are puling in fringe players, but Smith needs to control those kids.
November 28, 20214 yr No. The bigger picture here is how is Oregon going to handle the team that gave them one of the most embarrassing losses in recent history. And one could hardly argue that Las Vegas is a neutral site for Utah since it's a state over. But either way Oregon travels pretty well on the West Coast so it should be hopefully pretty even as far as fans go. But that doesn't matter when it comes to the fact that we were outplayed in every facet of the game last week and we can't afford to get our asses whipped again. November 28, 20214 yr No. Does Oregon want to go to the Rose Bowl, have pride? Plenty to play for on Friday. I say they show up, and make it a game. The Utes think they own us, won't have the edge they had last time, at home. The bigger question is Sewell, not that he has ever been stopped, but we need him, badly. I give AB kudos, warrior with the ball! He made some nice passes, and will have to this Friday.

November 28, 20214 yr Moderator No. A good "civil war" victory! A great deal of improvement on offense and defense for 3 quarters!. But when are we going to cure those false starts? When will we improve pass coverage on the easiest pass to throw - the slant? Hope everyone heals quickly! Beat the Utes!

And we lost the second half 26-14.....a sign of a team letting up. Super happy we won, but we just don't seem to have that killer instinct. The D is beat up. It's unrealistic to expect them to get a 3 and out every series and after an onside kick AND in the 4th quarter. The Oregon 2nd string D is better than OSU's first string.

It's still 420 miles for Utah, vs 860 miles for the Ducks. But like I said Oregon represents pretty well so I feel like there's going to be plenty of fans there. The real questions are the ones that happen on the field, not in the stands. And like Haywarduck says, flying there, it's pretty much the same. So my point is pretty much moot. Agreed. A qb like Jake Haener has plenty of ‘it’. I’d like to see more of Robby Ashford, he might just be that guy.
