  1. It does seat 77K plus. Not sure OR could sellout that many of they were playing P st. I did watch most of the game though. Gawd that band is annoying. Hopefully the Ducks can take some wind out of it.
  2. I don't think Lanning can stop a run up unless he goes real conservative in play calling.
  3. 10-2 regular season 38 PPG O 12.6 PPG D 34-31 Ducks NCG
  4. I'd rather play the Beavis than some other lower level program. It's a short trip if it's an away game so that's something to consider as well.
  5. Oregon starts with a fairly easy OCC schedule then goes to USC. I'm expecting a win down there. So 4-0 to start. Then a bye and after the bye 2 semi easy'ish games at home. Now 6-0. After that they hit a stretch of 8 games but only 3 on the road. I see at least one loss in the stretch so I'm going with 11-1. At this point I don't have a good idea of who they might lose too. The natural pick is either tOSU or MI. Although the away game against MSU could be the "Trap" game after tough games with tOSU and MI. I don't think they lose to the Huskies in Autzen unless they're worn down and or have some major injuries.
  6. I think Dan can win the big one but he just needs all the stars to align. 1) No key injuries, 2) 2nd and 3rd year players, 3) The luck of the draw for conference games as well as the CFP. So far at least one of those three have kept the Ducks out of the picture. Well all that and IMO the inability to make adjustments at the half. I'm still waiting for the Ducks to look like the team that has the 'It' factor and seems unstoppable.
  7. To settle the bye issue have all teams take a bye week 7. 6 in a row to start and 6 in a row to finish. Equal rest for all. But then WT heck would sports media have to talk about? Pro football of course.
  8. If this was the 4 team playoff the Ducks would've had one game with who knows who in a hopefully a decent bowl game but that's it. Instead they got 3 playoff games. The fans and the players got a 3 game extension for the season. To me this was the funnest Duck season yet. Playing teams we didn't used to play in stadiums we'd never see back in the P12. I can remember when the Ducks would break into the top 25. That was a big moment. Then the next week they'd lose and never see the top 25 again and be fighting to make a bowl game. Times have changed for the better for this Duck fan.
  9. So does that mean players being interviewed after the game will be thanking their sponsors and God?
  10. Looking at the schedule I only see two games that will be tough. OSU and USC. Both away games. Just don't see losing to USC but OSU depending on the date could be rough. Still questions about the new OC and which direction he goes. Not really to concerned about the new DC. Lanning and Hampton should be fine. Team wise I think this years team should be an absolutely offensive juggernaut. Looking at the returning players and newcomers there's nothing but a huge upside to the offence. Defence should be as good as last year or better. No way of knowing how the Ducks will finish conference wise and what seeding the'll get in the CFP so I'm not going out on a limb and say they 100% win it all. But I do see them making the final 4 again and even all the way to the final 2. Right now I say they have an 80% chance to win the CFP.
  11. How important is a CO-OC and CO-DC? Both new coordinators were CO's. Not being involved in anyway with coaching duties does anyone have a good take on how much input they have with play calling and pregame analysis? Mehringer seems to have a decent resume and DL has been around him for 4 (?) years. Hampton's been there for 3 years so again DL has a better idea of his abilities. I guess the question is how much each will change what we had before.
  12. I think the last time I won the Ducks lost too. Good thing I dont win very often.
