Anybody Have a Good Autopsy On Ohio St's Loss?
Ohio St was out of sync. What was glaring were the drops. USC is a lot like Oregon this year. They have good players but are up and down and not reliable. But when they are "on", they can be pretty good. Ohio St did not have the fierce pass rush that top 5 teams usually have. Oregon will need to have its best game of the year just to stay close. But it could happen.

When They Were at their Best, How Good Do You Think this Duck Team Is this Season?
I don't think the O line is great either, but the OC made them look worse than they were. Now that the Ducks have a somewhat sensible OC who kind of knows what he is doing, lets see how the O line does vs OSU and Michigan. There must have been some kind of reason that Lanning did not replace everybody there from the portal.

MBB: Coverage of Men's Basketball Program (4)
Montana is one of the teams that is considered most likely to win the Big Sky. An 18-point win is not to be dismissed. I recall a few good Big Sky teams that caused us problems, such as the Idaho team that beat the team with Ronnie Lee and Greg Ballard, and the Kellerman years under Munson.

Anybody Have a Good Autopsy On Ohio St's Loss?
I think OSU really let all the circumstances get to them in a bad way. Long travel after a bye week, away game rainy when they needed to play from behind passing to win, first full game with the new QB. I think the QB was serviceable as Raiola, just the rest of the team didn't show up. All the penalties, drops, and missed tackles, an all around poorly executed game.

When They Were at their Best, How Good Do You Think this Duck Team Is this Season?
Yes, I remember saying when Dante was injured we would get to see how capable we really were and we struggled to pull away from them, which was honestly a little disappointing at the time, but reflective of our ceiling. Then again, we did what Ohio State could not, beat a highly motivated USC team at home, but I think that was more a case of us playing to our ceiling while OSU played to their floor. I do think our ceiling has an opportunity to continue to improve since the USC game, but unfortunately OSU is next week, and they won't be playing to their floor for a second week in a row at home with their be acks against the wall.

When They Were at their Best, How Good Do You Think this Duck Team Is this Season?
When you look at the USC game and the 2nd half against Northwestern, you see how good this team can be at their best. But, that’s not the real question, which is unbelievably how bad they can be at their worst.

When They Were at their Best, How Good Do You Think this Duck Team Is this Season?
The O-Line is not good. The defensive fronts from Ohio State and Michigan will be the best ones they’ve faced all season. I don’t anticipate a great showing in the next two games.

Anybody Have a Good Autopsy On Ohio St's Loss?
They seemed to try and simplify the game for their new QB. He made some bad throws but also had some drops. That doesn’t mean he won’t play well against Oregon’s defense this weekend. They’ve yet to beat a backup Freshman QB this season. Furthermore, Raiola played good last week which means he’s due for his bi-weekly slump.

Anybody Have a Good Autopsy On Ohio St's Loss?
Ohio State's QB1 (Julian Sayin) will still be out with injury for the Oregon game.

Anybody Have a Good Autopsy On Ohio St's Loss?
I saw about the last 2/3 of the game. tOSU's offense look horrible and their tiny quarterback looked ridiculous. Their D was having a lot of trouble with SUC that night. They didn't look that good to me but maybe it was just a bad game. I'd say Northwestern's offense looked much more challenging to stop. They were going with QB2 the whole game. I don't know if QB1 is back this week or not. If not, I'd say an upset it possible but the Ducks obviously have looked about as up and down as any team in modern history so far so who knows what they'll bring to the fight. If anybody has a good breakdown on how the Buckeyes looked so bad against USC, I'd love to hear it.

Surprising Prediction Contest Twist...But Not the Winner!
We all know that the exhibition match against PSU doesn’t count. So to maintain the symmetry of an every other game win/loss we will need to beat Michigan and the Mutts and lose @ Bucknut and @ Sparty. Then win the Holiday Bowl!!

What Did You Think of Those Uniforms vs NW?
I also thought the team in white was the ducks a couple times I think we can do better..... but it's kid football players we hope to attract, not me

When They Were at their Best, How Good Do You Think this Duck Team Is this Season?
I think they were at their best against USC. But they’ve always looked a little “off” to me. This is a weird year in college football with no dominant team except, maybe, Miami. So, at their best I think our Ducks were top 10.

When They Were at their Best, How Good Do You Think this Duck Team Is this Season?
Most of us expected a lot more from this version of the Ducks. Then reality struck. This team may be on the verge of correcting serious issues. The players are talented but the coaching and the effort have been greatly disappointing at times. At this point the Ducks are better than mediocre. The intensity I saw in the players in the NW game gave me hope Oregon could win 3 of the next 4 and go 6-3 in the BIG and 8-4 overall. Not great but better than most. Not sure about getting into the playoffs since this season has been a shakeout for most ranked teams. Which has added a lot of excitement to the season.

So, Oregon Could Knock Ohio State OUT of the Playoffs?
Ohio St blew it vs USC and should have lost to Indiana but for a foot being out bounds. Indiana has had tough games. Ohio St is beatable this season. So is Indiana. Unfortunately, Miami will get in by not hardly playing anybody good this year. ND will get selected. The big12 is now like the mtn west - more of a secondary conference. Georgia is looking really tough right now. That still leaves 8 other teams to get in. Oregon's loss to Illinois really stings because they are not a real team this year. And that game was not even close. Most programs have 4 games left and how they trend from there will decide who gets into the playoffs. Being hot late can upsell the program. Ohio St might also lose to Michigan.

Love having a chance. I might just jump back on the "championship or bust" train😁 That light at the end of the tunnel could just be the train to hop.

What Did You Think of Those Uniforms vs NW?
I liked the uni's better on TV. The green on the number and name jumped out and at the right angle the numbers reflected the TV lights and glowed. Pretty cool. Also winning made them look great!

When They Were at their Best, How Good Do You Think this Duck Team Is this Season?
As bad as we were against UCLA, we were a play or two away from winning. They are ranked top 5, so we would at least be there. Especially now that the defense is playing great and the O-line seems to be more settled.

When They Were at their Best, How Good Do You Think this Duck Team Is this Season?
I think they were good, but not quite the whole package. They seemed a couple of pieces short of the whole puzzle. If they can play their best for an entire game, they have a chance to knock off anybody. If they could take back the bad OC promotion and Dante was still playing, I would say they make the playoffs but have an early exit from there.

What Did You Think of Those Uniforms vs NW?
Sorry, I'm not a big uniform fan. As long as the players don't appear in their birthday suits or in pants with the waist halfway down their butts, it's fine with me. I get it, the fans in the stadium want to know which colors to go with. Fine. Penn State has its Whiteout. Sure, why not. But unless the uniforms—the equipment—offer some sort of technological advantage via Nike like greater speed, easier movement, or increased protection from the elements—in my eyes it detracts from the focus on the product that Oregon puts on the field. Autzen is a football stadium, not some runway for fashionistas. Of course, if the uniforms motivate the players to perform better, if they are a recruiting tool to attract the best players, I'm good with it.

Per ESPN FPI we have a.1% chance of winning the Natty. So they are saying there's a chance!
