Underwood's Deal May Go Underwater
As a tight end? Maybe. But how much of the budget would this guy demand? Michigan players and fans are not happy with how OC Jason Beck, who followed Whit from Utah, has changed the O from the smashmouth, downhill O under Harbaugh. Underwood is a team captain; what will the response be if he is 'cut' in favor of Freshman Tommy Carr, Notre Dame QB CJ Carr's younger brother? This would put Tommy under the gun.😁 At Utah, Beck had a legit dual-threat QB in Deven Dampier, who Beck also coached at New Mexico. This O is RPO-oriented and designed for smaller, quicker O-line athletes. The D under former BYU DC Jay Hill has been superb. The word out of Ann Arbor says Michigan has a fractured locker room. With this defense, if Michigan had any kind of offense, it would be 5-0 heading into the Off Week and not 3-2, which could and should be 2-3. Michigan better figure something out before a Week 7 game vs. Penn State, also floundering under an experienced head coach, and Indiana in Week 8. NIL deal not guaranteed? Brilliant!

Marsh Duck - Final Thoughts Before Oregon v UCLA
I'm not sure we need to blitz this game, but I do agree with loading the box and corners just manning up. I don't even care if it's an extra safety or lb or dl, just get one or even 2 more people in the box. Put a fence around the backfield and force Nico and his WRs to win consistently through the air, which I don't think they can do. Wear down their OL while you are at it.

Underwood's Deal May Go Underwater
The rumors about him not loving football is a concern for sure. Not sure if they are true or not. Coach Whit deserves better imo. Rumors about the locker room being sour is not good.

Underwood's Deal May Go Underwater
We have Akili who may be a better version of Underwood already, and with Saleapaga and the Oregon State QB out there we have way better adjacent options than Underwood.

No sweat, and I agree with you about Wyatt.

Dante Moore Ruled Out for UCLA Game
Maybe because Chesney offered to look after Dante Moore in the hospital. A little too directly related for Dan to be coy about it. I'm not going to question Chesney 's motives, but it is certainly to UCLA's advantage to keep the bulletin board material for Dan and the Ducks to a minimum.

It is that time of the week again to have fun with our game prediction contest! Guesses on other threads don't count--only those here, and only those completely filled out with the tiebreakers. Let's have fun with it as we have so many years in the past... Let me know: --Which team wins: --Score: --How many turnovers created by Oregon? --How many sacks of the opponent by Oregon? --How many passing yards by Oregon? My prediction of Oregon vs. UCLA: Oregon 45-30 1 0 372 Earn Some Easy Money? I have a Duck-Buddy who is over age 65, and needs someone to give him a ride to the local hospital in Eugene-Springfield, and hang around him until bedtime due to the anesthesia after minor surgery. I would, but I have to work during the day, and since this nice fellow is offering a $250.00 fee to someone....it would help a guy who is alone, and you would earn some easy cash. If you want more information--email me charlesfobd@gmail.com or you can call me at 541-915-4541 for more information. Can you help a Duck-Buddy out?

Marsh Duck - Final Thoughts Before Oregon v UCLA
There are a lot of combinations you can play with and this team has a ton of talent. Purchase should be a staple using a five man front with Jackson spying Nico. Jackson is fast and strong enough to get Nico in the dirt. I think Flowers is beter than KP in run D imo. I would use him some in early downs to mix it up and crowd the box. He is a good tackle. Finney? Finney is a great tackler and not shy of contact. Incrediblyathletic and plays with some violence for a natural corner. I think a five man front early downs, mostly 1st, is key to getting contain on the edges and keeping Nico honest. Ducks can trust the corners and Finney in man on first down imo. Open up some bodies for the run D a bit. I think Ify is going to be 1 team B1G and all american this year. He is playing really good football.

Marsh Duck - Final Thoughts Before Oregon v UCLA
Please correct me if I am wrong but I remember last year that Trey McNutt was pushing for a big role before he got hurt. Was it an injury that could take a year plus to get back to full strength? Did it cost him some quickness? Just wondering why he has not been on the 2 deep or even talked about. Is Jett Washington that much better?

Not good. Looks like safety Aaron Flowers could miss Saturday's game. https://www.centraloregondaily.com/sports/oregon_ducks/what-were-hearing-on-oregon-injuries-ahead-of-ucla/article_ba75d467-d4fc-5831-b32a-186f5f3eca8d.html
