  1. I loved Reggie Ogburn, he reminds me more of Vernon Adams than he does of AB, His game up in Washington is a Duck-Huskie game for the ages.
  2. If the team that gets the ball first scores a touchdown, it's over. If they either don't get a TD, or only a field goal, the other team gets the ball, and win win with a TD, or tie with a field goal. I'm not sure how many OT's there are, NFL games can end in in ties.
  3. You know, Sark might want to go back to Washington, his Longhorns are losing to Kansas, 42-21. If not Sark. maybe the assistant Team Manager at Vanderbilt would be interested in the Washington job.
  4. In 2006, Troy Smith took Ohio State to the championship game, where they lost to Florida. For the season he completed 65.3 % of his passes, 195.5 yards per game, and he won the Heisman Trophy.
  5. In a game where neither head coach will likely have his job next season, Washington leads ASU, 17-7 early in the 3rd quarter,
  6. Shaw is the highest paid coach in the conference, and generally considered to fill all the boxes, but the last few weeks the Cardinal have been awful. How good of Coach is Shaw?
  7. Texas Tech avoids OT with last second 62 yard field goal, beats Iowa State, 41-38.
  8. With you completely. They changed it as a safety concern, but it almost certainly would not have kept going to 9 OT if it had stayed starting at the 25.
  9. I like it. When I'm surfing around for a game, and I see an OT is coming, I'll watch it, doesn't matter who's playing, Some prefer the "Sudden Death" format, but I like giving each team the ball. Recently there was a 9 OT game, because now after 2, both teams go to 2 point conversion mode. The Ducks have had some great games end in OT. And some not so great,
  10. Yes, Washington, the situation with your football coach is bad and it's getting worse. Washington Head Coach Jimmy Lake Facing New Charge of Physically Assaulting Player Ashton Pollard on3.com
  11. You're applying logic in a situation where The Committee is involved. We saw last week what they did with Michigan & Michigan State.
  12. 28-7 Ohio State, start of 2nd quarter. Purdue self inflicting all over; but if this game keeps going this way, what does Oregon need to do to WSU at home tonight?
  13. Miscommunication on handoff leads to a fumble by Purdue, recovered by Ohio State, next play, Buckeyes get a touchdown. 21-7.
  14. Ohio State 14 Purdue 7, middle of 1st quarter.
  15. I like this because it takes the power away from a Committee. Winning a Conference is an achievement/ Leave the scenario's and drama to the At Large teams.
  16. Michigan, "The Complete Team" just beat Penn State, 21-17.
  17. It will be interesting to see what The Committee does with Oklahoma ? 9-0 they had them at No. 8. How far down does 9-1 OK fall? Or with this Committee, maybe OK moves up ?
  18. Baylor leads 17-7. Rattler back at QB for OU. OU has averaged 477 yards per game, so far today, 157.
  19. That's how it goes for the big time programs now, which Oregon aspires to be. At Kentucky and Duke you love the 5 stars while they're there, then you love the next batch.
  20. Williams with a silly interception for Oklahoma.
  21. Baylor takes a 10-7 lead early in the 3rd quarter.
