  1. Last night I felt terrible, and I knew that sleep was a long way off, and then I thought about how Paopao was feeling. In my mind she was getting ready to hit Jaz with a pass, and then Jaz was going to nail the 3 to win the game! Instead, Paopao slipped on the floor. The losses always sting, feel much worse for much longer than does the joy for a win. The Stanford players all went , "whew" and slept fine last night.
  2. The article that goes with this tweet is only available with a subscription but Wilner's point is clear. He didn't think Oregon was going to win the North with Shough , or without him.
  3. His Rainbow 3's were a thing of beauty. Franck is a decidedly different type of player, but very much quickly becoming a favorite of mine as well.
  4. Excellent!. Buffs @ Ducks, Thursday, 8:00 ESPN2
  5. There was one play against Grand Canyon that Brito really showed her skill in the field, a sharp grounder, directly at her took a high hop. She reached up, caught the ball, brought it down, secured her grip on the ball, and then threw the runner out, and it wasn't even close. She's not Jas or Nikki Udria, but she's right in line with great Duck shortstops.
  6. Now I really wish that MKA was going to be FILLED with fans when Wright lV and the rest of the Buffaloes play the Ducks on Thursday, He's a good player, in the running for POY this season, but not the favorite, oh and yes, the Buffs are in 3rd place! So the the team is doing great under his leadership In fact Wright lV is already known as one of the greatest players of all time So, it's really too bad that Duck fans are going to miss out on their chance to watch Wright lV play
  7. In an epic memory lapse, the Pac-12 Network celebrated Colorado guard, McKinley Wright lV for 1600 points, 600 points and 600 rebounds. Not bad for a Men's basketball player. from NBC Sports Northwest
  8. I can not say enough for Coach Lombardi and the job she has done. After White jumped to Texas, and a bunch of the players went with him, or someplace else, she had a serious rebuild to do...and she's done it.
  9. First Prize: A Week in Corvallis Second Prize: Two Weeks in Corvallis Third Prize: You have to live in Corvallis
  10. This is a Husky fan just after a basketball game: This article from si.com won't help him, but I smiled after I finished reading it.
  11. I have to say, I don't mind the grey. I'll spare everybody by posting pictures of uniforms much worse. Suffice to say, this is how the announcer reacted after Oregon ran on the field in one of them.
  12. Fortunately, the damage to the program from Shough leaving hasn't been seen yet. I'm hoping that the scenario of Tyler and the program both moving on for the better comes about.
  13. Ducks go to 5-0 with another run-rule win, 9-1 over Montana.
  14. Yesterday saw the Ducks get their 6th straight win over the Wildcats, 9 of the last 11. This article from 247sports.com covers how Oregon has dominated Arizona.
  15. According to the softball twitter, the game started a while ago
