I could be naïve, looking through green and yellow tinted glasses. But I would be really surprised if Mario isn't at Oregon for a good, long time. He's a smart guy, knew the $ situation when he took the job, and for the most part his agent took care of the extension. I believe he is serious about wanting to build Oregon in to a football power, that's how he's wired, and I don't see him packing it up, moving him and his family somewhere else, and doing it there. He isn't going to jump like Tucker, at Colorado did, and Mario definitely does not want to be the coach after Saban, at Alabama.- Ducks Lose To WSU, 74-71
Earlier in the season, the Ducks beat the Huskies, 74-71. Last night, the Huskies again scored 71, the Beavers scored 91. Ducks and Huskies, Saturday.- Flo Hartenstein
I remember, Flo.- Cristobal Cost Herbert the No. 1 NFL Draft Pick
Which is exactly what happened at Alabama and LSU. We all remember back when the country dreaded the idea of Alabama and LSU playing for the championship in 2012. it wasn't because they were both in the SEC, it was because it would be BORING! And it was, After losing to LSU, 9-6 in OT, earlier in the season, Alabama beat LSU, 21-0 for the championship. But Alabama and LSU have evolved. LSU's offense 2 seasons ago was heralded as being the best college football had ever seen, until last season's Alabama championship team, that averaged 50 points a game! Mario is on the right track, the WR recruiting is regarded as one of the best, as is QB, Ty Thompson. Just follow what Nick is doing, Mario. Recruit some great offensive talent and let them go!- Ducks Lose To WSU, 74-71
Arizona State is now the only Pac-12 team to not beat the Ducks in MKA. The Cougars, who went crazy with 3's, 45,6%, got their first win, giving the Ducks, now 9-4 in conference games, their third loss in the last 4 games. Will Richardson was back in the line-up but Chris Duarte needed to be assisted off the floor early in the second half. From GoDucks.com.- Why LBs at Oregon will Thrive with Coach DeRuyter
Need look no further back than USC, with Rey Maualuga, Brian Cushing, Clay Matthews to see what a great LB corps can do for a team.- Oregon State Receives A Big Donation, Anonymously.

Oregon State received a $50 Million donation to spur the renovation of Reser Stadium. From 247sports.com- Oregon Gets Snubbed by Rivals
It didn't work out well for them. Going back 10 years before Saban took over, there were 3 coaches, Mike DuBose, '97-00, he went, 24-23, Dennis Franchione took over and lasted two years, 17-8. Next was Mike Shula. In his first two years, Alabama was, 10-15, then it got bad. In his next two years, and Saban's first, 2007, the NCAA hit Alabama with sanctions, and most of their wins were vacated.- Justin Is The Rookie Of The Year!
And lets hope they get that one right, too.- Oregon Gets Snubbed by Rivals
Clemson's OC just got an extension and a raise, he will now make $2 million a year.- Seven Mcgee Will be a Nightmare to Defend
This could be the litmus test on Mario's, "prevent offense". If, as you mentioned above, Seven can and must be deployed with imagination to be used to most positive effect.- Oregon's Receiver Recruit Class One of the BEST
It's always great to see Oregon in the conversation with Alabama, Ohio State and Clemson.- Seven Mcgee Will be a Nightmare to Defend
- Are we on the verge of having a SuperStar Coach?
It is interesting that the last time two teams on that list, Texas & USC, were relevant nationally is when they played each other in the Rose Bowl, in 2006. Both have the storied history and are located in fertile recruiting ground, but, without coaching to match, they sink. USC is sticking, might be stuck, in Clay. Texas just hired Sark, who's last head coaching job was at USC.- Top Heavy: Do we WANT Recruiting Balance in the Pac-12?
"If you can't beat 'em, steal from 'em"- Justin Is The Rookie Of The Year!
Great to see, from not even being expected to play, get his first start on minutes notice, to setting rookie records, it only makes sense!- This is who Seven McGee reminds me of: Johnny Rodgers
Johnny Rodgers is an iconic figure in college football, he is who I see when I remember the Nebraska teams of the 1970's. In 1971, Oregon went to Nebraska and lost, 34-7. Rodgers rushed, 5-32 yards and received, 2-27, he did not score in the game. In 1972, Rodgers won the Heisman Trophy.- Ducks Men Back In Action Against WSU Tonight
