  1. I can’t remember if it was a podcast or watching a game but it was reported that B1G has a pretty stringent policy for reporting injuries so that coaches/schools can’t “head fake” on injuries
  2. Just my take, but under no circumstances should Riley be hired by Oregon. He does not fit in the culture Oregon has had for many, many years. For example Chip’s suspension of L. Blount.
  3. While watching the Ole Miss v LSU game, I was longing for our D line to perform like the Rebels' D Line. Coming into the season I wasn't thinking that our D Line were going to be totally dominating, but I was thinking it would be several layers above what they've done so far. It was good to hear all the pads popping through the fourth quarter, albeit from players who likely won't get to play much. Being an optimist, I'm hopeful there will be similar focus and intensity against USC.
  4. This is curious to me. I haven’t checked his stats but his contributions last season seemed very low compared to his previous stats and highlight reels as a shooter
  5. Thanks for sharing that. Really glad Dion learned from his mistakes and is building something to help others avoid those mistakes in life
  6. Adding a little historical perspective here. Oregon’s softball team was the regular season champion of the Big Ten in 2025.
  7. I’ve only been able to watch games telecast on Big Ten plus this season, but it seems to me that Taryn Ho has played significantly more time at shortstop than Amaral.
  8. Impressive and gutsy performance. Congratulations to the Hoosiers. This year they have literally created football history. Mendoza demonstrated why he deserved the Heisman.
  9. To me Cignetti is the Kyle Whittingham of the B1G (of course that changes next season). Like Whittingham, Cig is a tough competitor and coach. His teams are disciplined, well-coached and seem to be pretty solid as human beings. I always liked Whittingham in the PAC 12 and rooted for Utah when not playing the Ducks. I’ll probably do the same for Indiana, but highly unlikely to do that for Michigan
  10. It appears when a college ensures its football program will become a dumpster fire by hiring low-character coaches that hiring a new coach to rebuild using a pile of ashes will be challenging.
  11. There is a lot of tragedy in all this. Moore’s family is caught in the fallout with their lives being turned upside down and inside out. The current Michigan players and incoming recruits must now decide whether to stay or go.
  12. This is good, but surprising, news. He played well enough to improve his NFL rating, but maybe another year will have a greater impact on where he'll go in the draft. Of course, there could be other legitimate reasons, like complete his degree or just learning more about life. Whatever his purpose, this is good news all around.
  13. Wouldn’t that constitute “pay for play”. I’m pretty sure that is not allowed in NIL though maybe things changed when schools were allowed to start paying players directly
  14. While not surprising, it is very disturbing. NIL has not only brought this kind of pay-for-play into the open, but has created a lot of opportunities for people to prey on the talents of kids.
  15. Looks like a solid choice at the end of the game. It was weird though. We were ahead most of the game, but the lead felt tenuous until about 5 minutes left in the game.
