  1. Talk about the best safety name ever "Savage" is exactly the guy you want patrolling the secondary.
  2. Thanks for bringing up this topic, as an employer I deal with workman's comp on a regular basis and this opens up a really big can of worms. I can only speak to how Montana works but this could get really expensive really quick. I own a restaurant and pay about 1.1% of on top of a salary for workman's comp insurance. If I was a roofing contractor I could pay anywhere from 10% to 20% on top of a salary depending on my safety track record. Football being a relative dangerous sport will lead to some extremely high premiums. Every state has different rules and every college would be assessed differently depending on their track record of safety. Once again this will just lead to more inequality in the balance of schools depending on their state and if they're legislature is friendly to the sport. I'm not saying these kids don't deserve healthcare, they most certainly do. Finding a balance will be extremely difficult and should probably be hashed out between players, schools and the federal government to even the playing field for everyone. I believe it's been said many times on this forum that college football is turning into a minor league sport and this is definitely a step in that direction.
  3. We've had a first rounder or two but never the supporting cast especially at safety. McKinley III was the last real impact safety we've had, once we get a Holland, Boyett, Ward, ect. in the backend everyone on the field will look a lot better.
  4. Arizona has started off strong but the Duck are stepping with some D. Evan is looking good keep it up boy.
  5. Can't wait to get off this channel as well, for so many reasons. It's streaming well for me in Montana on Spectrum. They seem to be getting back to the old line up a little more which is definitely helping. Dante and Bittle are going to take some time to integrate, the entry pass to the low post seams to be a foreign concept. That said there's some real nice flashes of what can be like Dante dishing the ball from the inside out for a 3.
  6. Colorado made the top 25, what a joke. I guess the media plays for clicks too.
  7. Ducks up 33-32 at the half with 21 of those points coming from the 3 point line. Dante is looking really good on D hope he can keep up the pace.
  8. Probably the best place for him no recruiting, and all he needs to call plays.
  9. I like seeing Tracy start the game, to bad he has already picked up his second foul.
  10. Hopefully they show up with an upbeat tempo, better ball movement and some good old fashioned scrappiness.
  11. Utah will be an interesting game, they have two 7 footer's that start down low. Evans will have to step up and guard one of these guy for a good part of the game. Carlson averages 17.2 points and Keita averages 9.9 they combined for 35 points agents OSU which is a small ball team. Judging from last game Dante may not be allot of help hope Bittle is good too go he's probably still in good shape as he had a wrist injury and could still run. Diawara needs to foul less and stay in the game longer or this could get ugly down low.
  12. I would have like to see Oquindo and Tracy play more, they have more heft and weren't being pushed around as much as the other guard. They also play a style of D that is tuff and in your face. Cook and Dante need to get in shape. Seams to me that Cook would have been a good matchup for Williams who was just killing it against the smaller guards. Dante doesn't even seam like himself, barely able to elevate and getting stuffed by little guys. Colorado is a tall team that is also quite agile, they played the toughest D the Ducks have seen all year.
  13. Ugly game, the Colorado curse continues.
  14. Time for Oquindo and Tracy to give that boost.
  15. Shelstad is not being the creator he normally is, not seeing those drive and dish or pull up jumpers. Looking a little timid.
  16. KJ has seemed off the last 2 games. Stopping Williams is tuff ask for anyone but having one of the big guys in the middle sure wouldn't hurt.
  17. Better energy, that but chewing at halftime seams to be working.
  18. Dana is definitely not happy, I would not want to be in that locker room. No ball movement, flatfooted on D.
  19. The Ducks are having a hard time finding their rhythm and need to keep driving the ball to the rim.
  20. In Montana we've been having highs of -12 with lows of -35 throw in the wind chill and we got down to -60 a few days ago. I'll take that any day over freezing rain.
  21. He really stood out in the games against the mutts. Hate to say it but he did the best job of covering Franklin all year and when I saw he entered the portal I was really hoping he'd take the short trip down the I-5 to Eugene.
  22. Really hope DL is on the phone with T-Mac, that dude can play.
  23. A lot of points off the bench tonight with the Ducks showing they can win with a lot of different player combination. This team is different then part years in that it has great depth and Dana can ride the hot hand to the win.
