  1. I like the trust idea, how it's administered will make all the difference. Turning sports into a job could be a step to far and could have unseen repercussions. Might as well just decuple football from the Universities and start a minor league. A 5 year scholarship player could have 150k sitting in a trust, That's not a bad start in life.
  2. Always like him and thought he was more of a natural fit at safety. He was never quick enough out of the break for the faster WRs. He did however have an eye for the ball, was good playing downhill, had good speed with a large catch radius. More of a free safety.
  3. Lucky needs to be more decisive hit the holes fast against this defense.
  4. Need a quick score to leave time for another drive later. This one's going to the wire.
  5. Two second string DBs on the field against the best passing O in the country. Next man up.
  6. Going forward I think NIL and the transfer portal will created more parity between the top 10. There's so many reasons "$" to stay in school. I believe this most apparent in the QB room, we're in years past if you were a late bloomer out of high school you ended up on a team that had no chance of making the playoffs. Now instead of entering the draft and hoping for the best they can transfer to a team that has a chance. Carson Wentz, Trey Lance and Josh Allen are good examples of kids from small schools that could have made a run for it all with different teams. In the case of Wentz and Lance both of them could have benefited tremendously from playing at a higher level and honing their skills before the NFL.
  7. SDST came pretty close last year. For me it's not all about who wins the championship but who belongs in top. Was the Boise State team from 2009 good enough to win it all? We'll never know because they didn't come from the SEC or the BIG10 so they never got the chance to prove it. 12 team playoffs give those Cinderella teams a chance to play for it all even if they didn't come from a power conference.
  8. The only regular seasons that might be diminished is that of the SEC and BIG10 which more or less have as automatic bids to the playoffs. The 2001 Ducks regular season would have sure counted for allot more or Bosie State in 2009. Just a few examples of teams that had regular seasons that counted for very little in the end.
  9. Daniels has to run to open up the passing game. Bo made that happen last year, this year he's so good he doesn't have to. Bo creates disadvantages with changing the play at the line or looking off DBs to help open guys up. He doesn't have to scramble for yards even though he can. Arguably that's the main difference between Bo this year vs last year. Bo is so good he makes it look easy. Daniels is out there creating offense because he doesn't have the football mind Bo dose. I for one am glad Bo no longer plays hero ball.
  10. I really hope you're right, I have very little faith in the committee giving any love to the PAC.
  11. Can't wait to show them what a real offense looks like. 3 of the ex PAC teams can really put up some points.
  12. Whoever wins I hope it's by a big margin. A FSU lose today would also be nice. I'm still worried that a one loss Georgia steals a playoff spot and the SEC gets two teams in the playoffs even in a down year.
  13. Who are you rooting for and how dose it help Oregon's playoff hopes? While I'm not actively rooting for OSUt I believe if they annihilate Michigan the Ducks have a better chance of making the Playoffs. A one loss Michigan doesn't look as good as a one loss OSUt and we're going to need all the help we can get to make the playoffs.
  14. Looks like the Oklahoma game is going to run late, dose anyone know if there's an alternate channel?
  15. Georgia is in a big game today with Old Miss what happens to the rankings if Georgia loses? Two 9-1 SEC teams with a win over the Dogs Old Miss would more than likely be the top of the one loss teams. The more one loss teams the crazier this thing is going to get. If Washington loses they're going to drop back to 9 or further. Michigan could get bounced out of the top 10 if they lose badly to Penn. Then there's a 9-1 Penn State in the mix but they probably will not jump in front of the ducks in the polls. hold on to your hats gentlemen. It's just starting to get fun!
  16. USC wins the most overrated team of the year again. LOL
  17. He got burnt on a few and was lucky he had help. I liked the kid a lot but he's still young and makes mistakes also he gets picked on especially when he's on bigger receivers. Bridges is just a bigger guy who seams to stand up to the 6'5" receives a bit better.
  18. T. Johnson! Looking good today.
  19. At least he's in position to make the tackle but he gave up 3 passes on the drive before the end of the half
  20. Florence is getting worked. I'd like to see Bridges get a shot as he looked good against Washington.
