USC Getting Top Receiver from Pitt on 'Massive' NIL Deal and Pitt's Coach Doesn't Like It
SC recently signed Eric Gentry who would have started at LB for ASU. 1 reason Gentry left ASU was the lack of good NIL deals for ASU players. ASU has not yet finished setting up an "NIL Collective.' If SC buys Addison; well. that's the name of today's game. Has to happen on or before tomorrow for Addison to be eligible in 2022 This looks like Twitter nonsense to me but? Slovis has not looked all that good at Pitt so far. Addison could possibly make big NIL money and bigger NFL money catching passes from Caleb Williams in 2022?

How SC Wins More Games!
2023 - USC plays in South Bend. In all likelihood, SC plays 9 conference games. I have zero problem with SC not wanting to play 2 P5 opponents in 2023. THIS is savvy Playoff scheduling. Especially for a team with an annual marquee game vs Notre Dame.

How SC Wins More Games!
SC also signs LB transfer Eric Gentry from ASU. Gentry would have started for ASU this season and should really help the Trojans D. 2022 free agency in effect ends tomorrow. Have to sign by 5/1 to be eligible for 2022.

Is 8.5 O/U Wins for Oregon an Obvious Diss?
Why not indeed? NOTHING wrong with being optimistic. I just hope Ducks fans will not be bummed IF this season's team does not reach the Final 4. Not certain that Oregon will be a solid favorite in every game? By 'solid' I mean more than a 1 score favorite.

Bellotti on the West: "The Enthusiasm Level and Commitment are Not the Same."
This, is an obvious insight into the obvious. The Alumni Council was a good idea but unlike Merton Hanks, I do not see it producing 'dividends.'

Jon Wilner's Pac-12 Stock Report
Thanks for the post Steven A. THIS speaks for itself: "Schultz is one of the few (Pac-12) university presidents who not only takes an interest in football but understands the sport -" I watched the Wazzu Spring Game. The QB transfer from Immaculate Word, Cam Ward, sure looks like the real deal running the same O he played in at IM under his former HC, who is now the WSU OC. Heading to Pullman to play these Cougars after playing the BYU Cougars in Autzen could be a witch?

Very few!

Want to be Noticed by the NFL from the Pac-12? Go to Oregon!
Agree with the sentiment. But how do you keep the west coast studs consistently at home? 2022 1st round: 13 SEC; 4 Pac-12. Hard to recruit against these kind of numbers.

Kayvon Goes No.5 to the New York Giants
Great day 1. KT at 5 and the best OT in the draft, Evan Neal from Bama, at 7. Now, the Giants need to find a quality QB. This is probably not the season to do so? I note that QB Jones' contract was not extended.

Dawgs Fan From Georgia: What I Hope to Learn and Share
Great day 1 draft for Georgia with a record 5 D players being picked in the 1st round including the #1 pick. (13 of 32 1st rounders, 40+%, from the SEC. The beat goes on.) I have to think this is good news for the Ducks? No matter how good the replacements for these starting 5 may be, they will not be as good in the 1st game as the Dawgs D was last season. And I say this knowing the back ups are big time recruits and athletes. BTW, thanks for giving me another reason not to go to Florida,

Is 8.5 O/U Wins for Oregon an Obvious Diss?
Fred? THIS is a big, big ask. Have to go at least 12-1 to make the final 4. Lanning may well be a smart coach but this is his first go round as a head coach. And it's not like he has the Chipper's 2022 OOC schedule. If the first game at UGA is an L, and the Ducks are 15 point underdogs, it is thin playoff ice the rest of the way. I hope you are right but I urge some 2022 patience. 9-3 and a north division title IMO would be an excellent result. The playoff has been a long time coming for any Pac-12 team. But, I sure hope that your optimism is realized.

Couple Awarded $5 Million Verdict After Property Hit By 600 Golf Balls
Huh! GREAT MOVIE! Are you upset because you've been a caddy all your life? A Harold Ramus screen play gem. 'We have a pool and a pond. The pond would be good for you.' You know I'm KIDDING! 'FORE, I should have yelled 2?'

He's improved. He had time to work on his game in the can. I played behind OJ once upon a time at Rivera. He made Judge Smails game look honest. Never seen a guy hit a better foot wedge.

Is 8.5 O/U Wins for Oregon an Obvious Diss?
The actual futures numbers have millions of dollars wagered on them every year. Like all lines this one is set to balance the books. Between the 8-4 prediction you see above and the 10+ win predictions you see above. For Sports Books and sports bettors, this is serious stuff.
-
Is 8.5 O/U Wins for Oregon an Obvious Diss?
No, not a diss. If you predict 9 or more wins find this line and bet it. I think 8.5 is essentially a balance the books line? I think looking at the schedule that 8.5 is certainly a reasonable line.

Great take. You take Bama, I'll match you with the Ohio State 'fans.' How do you think Utah is going to do in The Swamp. It will be very interesting to see what time this game kicks off? If its the CBS Game of the Week a 3:30 KO will not be easy on the Utes.

California (the State) Screwing with the System Again
You are addressing economics. I doubt that any person in the legislature who votes for this senseless piece of junk can add 2 and 2 and have the result = 4? I certainly hope ADs and college/university leaders show up at hearings on this proposed legislation to voice exactly what you have pointed out. THIS passes, kiss scholarship varsity sports good bye in CA and say hello to club sports. Ergo, kiss the Pac-12 goodbye as a P5 conference.

Wow! A Big Surprise About Student Transfers
Transfer Portal Update - The NCAA reports that in 2020-2021season, 59% of the FBS players on scholarship who entered the portal found a new home and a new scholarship. I hope these numbers are being shared with the players?
