  1. Dan, if you own a Mercedes, please turn it in. The next time you are invited to Atlanta, come up with, I don't know, a broken clavicle? As we said in Boston for decades, "Wait 'till next year." 15 new starters with a 20-year-old QB, and you finish 13-2. Heck of a season. And on 1/19, in Cig and his Hoosiers, I'm believing.
  2. After OBD defeats Indiana, I hope Coach Lanning insists on the higher-seeded team using the Miami Dolphins' home locker room. 😁 Ooops! 🤬

  5. Cig keeps his eyes on guys he can coach up - ESPN.comFrom 'duck feet' to 'production over potential:' Curt Cig...The Hoosiers' roster is filled with different kinds of players, but all had to meet Cignetti's standards.
  6. THI$ helps Cig's cau$e - YardbarkerMark Cuban continues to throw money at the Indiana HoosiersNotably, Indiana is already one of the biggest winners in this transfer portal cycle. The Hoosiers might have Cuban to thank for that.
  7. I want OBD to put out that Cig! But with the turnaround of CFB's losingest program, Cig deserves the love. https://www.yardbarker.com/college_football/articles/these_stats_point_to_hc_curt_cignettis_brilliance_at_indiana/s1_13132_43301061?utm_source=mb&utm_medium=email&mb_edition=20260108&mb_loc=right_h

  11. USC QB Husan Longstreet on the way to OBD? On3Initial school to watch for USC QB transfer Husan LongstreetThe initial schools to watch for former USC QB Husan Longstreet who arrived in Los Angeles as a five-star recruit.
  12. SEC Network's Jordan Rodgers: The B1G is better than the SEC. Personally, I think it's close and varies program by program. But one thing that needs to be addressed is the voters, including the PO Committee's top-to-bottom love of the SEC conference. The six Big Ten teams that did not win six games in 2025 were not good football teams. The six SEC teams that did not win six games in 2025 were not good football teams. Consistently top 25-ranked Tennessee and Missouri did not defeat a P4 team that finished with a winning record. Highly touted A&M did not defeat an SEC opponent that finished with a winning record. That OBD could and in some quarters should have been out of the PO with a second Big Ten loss was frustrating and absurd. The on-field results this season IMO, support Tony Petitti's automatic qualifier PO format. On3Jordan Rodgers declares Big Ten 'the better conference,'...SEC Network's Jordan Rodgers delivered a strong take on the league vs. the Big Ten after Miami defeated Ole Miss in the CFP.

  15. When your agent drops you, it may be a sign that you're not making the right choice. His teammates must be thrilled, right? Demond is now "fully committed" to UW. 🤪
  16. HECK of a FOOTBALL GAME! Miami did all it could to lose but ... Pawallll, this is your travel agent. Your choice of destination: Pyongyang, Tehran, or Caracas? What's that? Yes, you are traveling coach. No movie. No dinner. And no beverage service. And have a really nice day. 😁
  17. Saturday Down South's Matt Hayes on MIA/ Ole Miss and OBD/IU semifinals I'm hoping both of Matt's picks are lost in a haze of Rebels and Ducks. 19. If you're looking for a Peach Bowl to champ game 'tell,' tonight in the NHL, the Ducks play the Hurricanes 😁. Go Anaheim!
  20. Miami's 18-year-old frosh WR Malachi Toney played QB in high school. Malachi is the Old Testament's last prophet. Will the last be first? Miami frosh RB Mark Fletcher, Jr., and Toney were at one time 'commited' to Ohio State.
  21. The Sugar Bowl movie was rated X for UGA and PG for Ole Miss. Next up, a chance for a Pete Golding Fiesta Bowl.
  22. What's the O/U on Kiffin attending the game? Perhaps accompanied by Demond Williams?
  23. Coming down on Kiffin - Keep It Coming! SILane Kiffin Once Again Pushes Boundaries in Demond Willia...The fallout from Williams’s decision along with the Ole Miss assistant coaching chaos highlight the sport’s gray areas Kiffin has long exploited.
  24. Miami is a 3.5 favorite. Who you got? I'm hoping to imbibe a postgame Hotty Toddy. 😁 ESPN.comThompson: 'What if we are the people who win these games?...After a chaotic month, Ole Miss won the kind of game it always loses, leaving its fans wondering how far it can go.
  25. For those who believe Williams' conduct is righteous. Every FBS coaching contract has a liquidated damages clause, and they are uniformly honored and enforced. The agreement Williams signed included a waiver of his right to transfer. I imagine UW and his agent did not expect Williams to dishonor his agreement. Liquidated damages are likely to be included in the new template and will be enforced. Damages? If someone on behalf of LSU improperly contacted Williams, Interference with a Contract should be very easy to prove. NIL deals in support of this poaching would be revealed in discovery, and ipso facto damages will accompany the disclosures. There is a much larger issue. If the Big Ten-approved revenue share agreements are not enforceable, chaos becomes catastrophic chaos. QB hurt during the season, just go buy one from a competitor. To hell with any revenue-sharing agreement the injury-free QB may have with his existing team. To hell with the QB having any responsibility to his teammates. To hell with any concern for the integrity of the game. For goodness' sakes! Williams isn't trying to get out of a deal for a stipend, room, board, and tuition. Williams and his advisers, one of whom has quit in disgust and to avoid financial damages and damage to the Wasserman Group's reputation, agreed to a deal estimated to be between $3 and $4 million dollars. If this BS falls in the lap of LSU and Kiffin, I see the workings of fate and pefect karma.
