Also we dont have the speed or strength to play Smash mouth football--we need a Chip Kelly mentality at this time. Unfortunately Bo Nix is awful, and our backups are not good. As Charles says we are in a pickle. As lost as I saw our defense Im thinking we win maybe 6 games at most.--Its going to be rough seas folks. I admit Georgia was a very very tough game and one that most thought we would lose but scoring only 3 points??? Lanning has his work cut out and so does Dillingham.

My opinion is that we wont see any changes until BYU.

The realignment and the new playoff system is designed to keep the SEC top dog--its called thinning the heard and it WILL work just that way. Get ready for lesser bowl games that mean nothing for 99% of college teams. Eventually we will have 4 super teams-just like we have now. The more things change the more they stay the same.

I will add one other thing, Kirby has the luxury of recruiting his own backyard which is a hotbed for talent.

All that sounds great but with all that's happening with realignment, NIL and the portal Im not sure Lanning has the luxury of time that especially BIG and SEC teams have. IF the Ducks are not careful we could be in the Mt West in 2 or 3 years.

Sometimes these players move on sooner than they should and things don't work out--same could be said for some coaches-just sayin there was no defensive scheme that I saw. Get ready for a very rough year.
