He can sell the fact he has put so many players in the NFL. Dowdell could be the back we have been wanting for a while. Donte may be that guy, but I also wonder who Locklyn can bring in after the relationship building and success you speak of. An exciting program will bring back the buzz for playing at the O because we have an O again. Add the D we have seldom had and the future looks extremely bright. Won't go down at first contact, another item I am a little tired of seeing. Bringing back the big back with the stiff arm, love it. For a big back his wiggle and ability to stab a foot in the ground and change directions is exceptional. He runs angry with good power and contact balance rarely going down on first contact.

I have too much to do to sit and watch much. I am still training for a few big races and enjoy participating in sports still. I want to do as much as I can until I have to watch. I suppose experiencing some sporting events with friends would be on my bucket list, but not too high. If a friend said they had tickets to a big event, I would make time. My bucket list is still full of things I want to do, not so much see.

Oklahoma played a lot of close games they should have blown out and lost a couple when it got tough. I think it is a valid observation to say Oklahoma had a casualness to its program. Riley is now head coach at the University of Southern Cali Casualness, he will fit right in. Where talent goes to be respected, underperform and sadly never reach its potential.

I will agree with Drake and raise it one more, no purple or orange ever, and no blue either! Let the student athletes get creative, but certainly put limits on what is acceptable. Nobody should ever wear purple or orange in public! After failing the Mustang brand for decades Ford finally did it justice, nice! I had a nice old mustang, and always was interested in the latest models coming out. The main caveat is if a player is only going to be around for 3 years before he is ready for the NFL draft, you play him early. We probably have at least one of those, and if he can get up to speed, you play him often. Agree most players can use some time getting use to college speed and putting on some more weight and strength. I can't imagine losing a season of Noah just to get him more ready for his sophomore season! There are players who just need to be on the field from the start, DAT was definitely another. Can anyone name the players who were ready day one? Maybe Justin should have?

Was at a hotel in Montana where the wifi password was 67GTO. I asked the guy behind the desk why the password had GTO in it, and he said part of his retirement package was in the barn out back.
