  1. The most interesting stat on this sheet is the opponents’ offensive rank—Oregon is #1. That means Oregon has played against the best set of offenses in the country. Their unadjusted stats aren’t that impressive, but when adjusted against the competition, they are pretty dang good.
  2. There’s simply no excuse for lack of fundamentals for the O line. That is 100% coaching. These are players who have been in the system. This is coaching 101.
  3. All we had to see was the celebration afterwards to know it was intentional.
  4. Even Trojans Wire wants him off the team. https://trojanswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/college/trojans/football/2026/09/26/desman-stephens-attitude-shows-lincoln-riley-failed-usc/91969272007/ Riley is pathetic.
  5. Cardele “we ain’t come here to play SCHOOL” Jones was tOSU’s 3rd string QB when they beat Helfrich and Mariota’s team in the first CFP championship game in the 14/15 season. I remember feeling totally out-classed by the depth of Meyer’s tOSU. OBD had lost our 2 top receivers (Carrington, Allen) our top running back (Freeman), and cornerback (Ekpre-Olomu) between the semi-final and the final. And it showed. tOSU lost Miller and Daniels and still crushed us with Jones and Elliot. They also mysteriously lost an early game to an unranked VA Tech. Maybe OBD finally have the depth we need to go all the way?
  6. Trigger warning… I wonder how many teams have won a D1 natty when Dyer was down. 😉
  7. Could not agree more! And I’m also excited to see special teams—both offense and defense—because it should give us a proxy for how deep the bench is and how disciplined the team is.
  8. I will say, I used to love watching the Ducks at the Coliseum because they have fantastic nachos. 🤷‍♀️
  9. I want to see the 2nd and 3rd stringers come in and dominate in the 2nd half. According to sources, OR has a blue chip roster rate of 83% or #4 in FBS. Boise St has a blue chip rate of 1%, good for #84. If our backups don’t dominate, even against their starters, we have a problem.
  10. I appreciate your comment bc it made me curious to watch. I respectfully disagree. The first questioner put words in Koi’s mouth saying he “obviously” would prefer to skip Oregon and go straight to the Vikings. He laughed that off, and in the rest of the interview, he reiterated that he loves Oregon—the team, coaches, and state. I think, if he were a mercenary, he would be playing for Lincoln Riley. And it says a lot that he wasn’t interested in taking pictures on his official visit and instead wanted to talk football. I’m really looking forward to seeing him play.
  11. Which will be the bigger storyline… 1st round byes or B12 weakness?
  12. TT’s scoring defense came in averaging just under 12 points per game. Ducks doubled that. Their scoring offense came in averaging over 44 points per game. Ducks blanked that. I could not ask for anything better.
