He laughed that off, and in the rest of the interview, he reiterated that he loves Oregon—the team, coaches, and state. I think, if he were a mercenary, he would be playing for Lincoln Riley. And it says a lot that he wasn’t interested in taking pictures on his official visit and instead wanted to talk football. I’m really looking forward to seeing him play.

Great point! It definately makes sense for QBs. If that’s how things end up going, I think it makes the game even more interesting. I’d love to see the top young QBs playing and making the whole FBS more competitive.
