  1. Auburn football fans react to Bo Nix as Oregon QB2 behind Ty Thompson FLYWAREAGLE.COM
  2. Jimbo got his hat handed to him by the Ducks. Ol' Crab legs. Weren't the on a 20+ game winning streak? Fun times.
  3. With the transfer portal, anyone who shows up tomorrow are his players. From previous articles, sounds like these players are compleatly bought in. Who knows though, vomit on the sidelines might peel off a few.
  4. Harris intercepted that ball. Q2 I think. Auburn scored shortly after.
  5. 2023 OL/DL Recruit Mamadou Cissokho Discusses Oregon Football Offer and Budding Recruitment - Sports Illustrated Oregon Ducks News, Analysis and More WWW.SI.COM Cissokho is a multi-sport athlete that will move to the U.S. this summer

  7. Lanning said as much in his intro presser if I remember right.
  8. Being out of position defensively at second level doesn't really give us a good read on how good Utes TE were against the Ducks. 4 to 7 yards in the middle of the field wasn't defended. MC did not set this team up for success.
  9. My thought was he was setting culture that builds on itself each day. As a man, it's not always assets that propel me to be great. More often it is confronted defects that move me further down the road. DL, imp, is setting this team up to get better as the season progresses. Most often it is the team that minimizes mistakes and defects that wins the game. Setting the foundation now. I think DL believes he can win it all next year. Why hire h8m if he didn't believe that. Ducks almost won a NC with less talent overall. Last second field goal. I say go for it all now.
  10. The conference networks might be able to make this work. Could be a huge loser though. Most people are getting out after a long winter. Just don't see conferences taking the risk.
  11. Been trying to recall since this question was posted. IDK, I can't remember not being a Duck fan. Casual fan with a mix of rabid all my life I guess.
  12. I think I read somewhere that Oregon's contributing players on D last year had an average of 3.5 stars. I doubt Oregon will compete at a Geo. level defensively. I do think production will increase dramatically over last year. Could be the best D Oregon has ever fielded.
  13. Potential college football rule changes aim to limit plays and exposures while shortening the game - CBSSports.com WWW.CBSSPORTS.COM Limiting exposures to improve player safety has become a top priority The college game is great. Leave it alone please. Try looking at NIL and portal for rule changes first.
  14. Every "Great" in every profession has a couple things in common. One of course is competitiveness. When I was young and playing football, I absolutely refused to be beat. I wasn't the biggest, fastest, strongest or most athletic. But man, nobody was going to beat me. That competitiveness had College coaches paying attention to me as a sophomore in HS. Unfortunately I was troubled youth and went down the wrong road. That same competitiveness brought me back later in life and today I am what others would call successful. The other commonality is obsession in craft. Whether it is MJ, Tiger, Steve Jobs, or Stevie Ray Vaughan/Bonamassa. They were all obsessed. Nothing less than perfection is acceptable. And it's all the thought about. God given talent can take someone far. But competitiveness and obsession can take you to the top of the mountain. Tom Brady is the Goat not because of God given talent but because he is absolutely obsessed with what he does.
  15. Maybe this will cheer you up.
  16. Cota is ok... the guy CAN play. He is a local kid so welcome.
  17. I remember looking for Eastern Washington on tv the rest of that year. Was really impressed. It was obvious this guy was a special talent. Good for him, his success is well deserved.
  18. There is a ton of talent on this current team. A coaching staff that is capable of developing and using that talent effectively. A progr'm and fan base that is excited and hungry. With a little luck, a few bounces of the ball and Ducks could very well make it into the CFP. Get in the playoff and anything could happen. Optimistic for sure. But hey, I am a fan. I will let the sensible heads balance the forum. They are better equipped. Me? I am a fanatic and well equipped to be so 🤪😜🤪

  20. Who says Ducks don't beat the Dogs
  21. Blount force trauma. Dude was a beast. He shouldn't have KO'd Hout, true. Hout shouldn't have gotten in his face either. Under the circumstances, I get it. Due to the ebolishment of mutual combat laws, Hout didn't know any better.
  22. MC made Dan Lanning's job much easier. He showed all of college football that Oregon is a place for the very best players. Lanning needs to build on that. The rest about MC was less than desirable. This new staff has that IT factor the last staff possessed X10. Give them a full recruiting cycle and the last Coach will be long forgotten. Willie who...err... Mario who? Lanning has proven he can develop defensive talent as DC of Georgia. He has the intelligence, passion and competitiveness needed to take Oregon to the top. As everyone is Falling all over themselves about Riley (pfft), Lanning is building a monster in Eugene.
