I think for most Duck fans, we are sucking it up. Licking our wounds and looking for better days. The firing of Meh' was right on time. I don't think you can just kick a guy to the curb before attempting at fixing the issues. Lanning did that. Meh' got a win last week so he got another week. I mentioned in the game chat that Lanning looked like a whipped dog. By the end of the game he looked better, like he finally knew what the next step was. He took that step this morning. It had to of been difficult at a personal level. Keep grinding Dan. Oregons true fans will back your play from here.

Lannings fingerprints are all over this defense. He was hired as a defensive coach. He rightly handed the offenses to Dilly and Stein. They were great hires. He missed with Meh'. 2 out of 3 ain't bad. Chances are he hits a Home run with whoever is next. He will have to lick his wounds and move on. Try and learn from this failure. To call for Lanning's head is premature and irresponsible imo.

I don't think that's true. There are a lot of really good coaches at Oregon already. OC and O line coaching fixes a lot of the issues.

My hope is that Lanning hasn't lost the locker room. Sure felt like the defense had a "What's the point" moment yesterday. Dan is a good lead man. Firing Meh', in my mind gives Lanning a clean slate. Let's go out and ruin some seasons for others. Starting with NU

I fully expected to wake up this morning to the new that Meh' has run out of town. Doesn't look like it has happened. I can usually sleep it off but woke up angrier than I went to bed. I have a feeling I am not alone in that.

Not sure it's knee jerk reaction at this point. Meh' has had plenty of chances to show he can do the job and hasn't. The swinging gate in the 3rd put a stamp on the eviction notice imo

So who is on your short list for HC? I don't agree that Lanning should be fired. I reserve the right to change my mind. See what he does with Meh' over the next couple days.

It's Meh' responsibility to coach this offense. There is no improvement week to week. He has done nothing to make this offense better. He needs to have walking papers in hand now. Get him a flight out of O'Hare and call him an Uber
