Wear team colors to the opposing teams stadium and... When a war or battle is won between nations/tribes there are parades and celebrations. Sometimes there are acts of... Sports is a microcosm, in many ways, of our society and culture today. It shows the tribalism and maturity, or lack of, at a base level. Scary thought in many ways. This usually requires motivating factors such as pain and suffering, yet not always. If you are so sucked up over AB or MC that your wife has taken the children and went to the in-laws, you might want to look at that. I come out of troubled youth, young adult life was even worse with everything you can imagine that comes with it. 9th grade education, jails, streets... you get the Idea. At 26 I turned and started walking the other direction. Success and failures along the way. At 52 I have a wonderful wife, my own home, 2 newer vehicles in the drive way and a six fig income. Most important is I am now a value to my family and community. This is sports and it is vitally important to a healthy community. OBDF has found that balance and maturity of being a healthy and enjoyable place to be a fanatic of OBD. This is valuable and should be protected. We all should be mindful, you never know who is watching.

I would love to root for Mich but Lanning coaches UGA. Cincinnati, I suspect, is going to get their hats handed to them.

Oregon is the better job. Many try to spin UO as a step stone school. Truth is that UO makes coaches. It's time they get back to making football players. MC got his school and his contract. This will be his pinnacle of achievement. All down hill from there.

Be interesting to see how many players are negatively impacted by portal. These are kids making life decisions that will affect their whole life. Except for a few family and friends, they are making these decisions alone. College football is big business and many will do whats best for the almighty dollar. Coaches have hired guns to negotiate on their behalf. These kids do not, many will learn hard lessons as this machine chews them up. College football is no longer your Grandfathers football. Good luck to these young adults. They are adults and can make adult decisions, but they will also reap the benefits or consequences alone. Good luck young man.

Tough to win when you can't field a team

Hope he shines! An opportunity to show up, solidify yourself as an all around bad a**! This bowl has less meaning than in years past. Kid will have a blast for sure. I like it.

"A man makes his own luck". So no... the Ducks weren't lucky. They created the environment to have very good QB play. Just as they have at RB. The Blue bloods aren't entitled to getting the greatest players or the greatest play out of players. Oregon will break the glass ceiling soon. We as fans, the alumni, the athletic department, players and coaches should expect no less.

With all the transfers, opt outs and coaching changes the cup still appears to be half full for OBD.

IDK if the Rose Bowl matters in years its not in CFP. Who wants to pay $1000 for a game that many of the best players opt out. Any bowl outside of the CFP is becoming pointless. Throw in the coaching carousel and portal, and its a death wish for these storied bowls. Expand the CFP to incorporate all the historically valued bowls and use the lower tiered championship games to prop up the remaining Kimmie Jimmel type bowls. Crown a champ on first weekend of January.

What I find here is that posters seem to have a high football IQ. Observations and thought line, 99.9% of the time, are high quality and spur more thought. I always try stay inbounds and keep disciplined on the topic. Full disclosure, I never read the rules. Don't need to if I stick to the topic with grace. Still miss Loother a bit but this is much better.

Need a QB that can throw the football. A ton of talent in the WR room this season. Nobody to get the ball to them. Anything Beyond 6 or 7 yards in the air solicited prayer. Most forgettable season in recent memory, LOL. 10 wins? Amazing!
