  1. I'm hoping for inflation in 2022 and beyond.
  2. In regard to Cyrus Moss, Andrew Nemec mentioned in a podcast with UM people ( Listen: The lasting recruiting legacy of Mario Cristobal at Oregon - oregonlive.com ) (audio embedded in article and you may want to fast forward to Nemec's interview) that on his official visit he was compared to KT in build at the same stage in his career and liked what Feld had done to KT's body. So, chalk one up to the 'stashe.
  3. In the words of the immortal Duck prophet "The problem was–I could not possibly see a candidate to replace him that would be as good or better … until". No truer words ever spoken. MC was the Devil we knew.
  4. From the Oregonian, "His return brings Oregon back to 83 projected scholarship players in 2022, including five running backs, though the futures of Travis Dye and CJ Verdell are not publicly declared. They’re automatically entered in the upcoming NFL Draft and have until Feb. 4 to opt out if they wish to return to UO for their senior seasons." Oregon Ducks running back Sean Dollars removing name from transfer portal, returning to UO - oregonlive.com
  5. Andrew Nemec has a great take in his podcast Ducks attack transfer portal; Beavers juggling scholarships: The Recruiting Trail podcast - oregonlive.com That there are more "star power" offensive players in the West than defensive and that Lanning should have the edge with D recruits. So, Riley's edge in the offensive area wouldn't be as significant as Lanning's in the defensive area.
  6. His hire reminds me of when the Giants got Barry Bonds. Always thought he was a A...., but at least from then on he was our A....
  7. Not sure ratings are all that accurate. It is what you do with your degree, not necessarily where it is from. Also, is the Phil and Penny Knight Campus for Accelerating Scientific Impact included in the rankings? The Phil and Penny Knight Campus for Accelerating Scientific Impact | University of Oregon (uoregon.edu) This is a one-of-a-kind program. Phil heavily recruited the advisors ... having custom Nikes presented to them (including specialized for a grandchild of one whom he researched had special needs) AND letting them know if they need ANYTHING to advance their research, he is a phone call and checkbook away at all times as opposed to normal educational red tape.
  8. Well, Bobby Ewing shower scene part 2 if they want to continue the series. Disappointing at best.
  9. The first post says he's in portal, a few minutes later out, and now back in???
  10. I'm gonna loan him this for our D-line recruits.
  11. I see at least two problems with the rule. The team that wins the toss and scores a TD, the other team never gets the ball. If the team that wins the toss scores a FG, the other team should not be facing the rest of the 10 minute clock. They should have all the time they need to finish the drive. For instance, had LV kicked the FG with 1 minute left, LA should be given all the time they need for their possession.
  12. Well, it has cured one defect with the NCAA, there are no more cheaters since there aren't any rules to break!
  13. Good mention of Frei. I remember in the 1970 season he won national coach of the week award twice in three weeks, and hi comment the second time was something to the effect that we must not be expected to win games.
  14. The O lazered on Camelback Mountain at BCS
  15. This is big in so many ways... Oregon Lands Transfer Commitment from Starting Washington DT Sam Taimani by Matt Prehm of 247 Sam ‘Taki’ Taimani, Washington Huskies Starting Defensive Lineman and Key Transfer, Commits to Oregon Ducks by Andrew Nemec of OregonLive
  16. As opposed to a "new sheriff in town", there are no sheriffs in town.
  17. Lucky you, I'm never conscious long enough to have a stream.
  18. Big payday for Oregon and on TV. I remember it being a close game until kickoff.
  19. How many years of genital licking does it take to change a mind? Just asking.
  20. So, we may not have as many to fill as we thought? They do list who has yet to decide... Where Oregon Stands With Their Scholarships Going into 2022 Football Offseason by Matt Prehm of 247
  21. Nostrduckist here, next round of expansion will see the also rans of the SEC, I'm looking at you OU & UT, fulfill Champagne Larry's dream of joining the Pac. Plus, Larry taking credit. You heard it here first!
  22. I think we already saw something like this recently with a BIG 10 player (need a little help from my forum friends for his name) who was hurt, missed a few games and could have come back for a game or two but decided to end his college career. Also, we saw a QB from a Texas school (more help please) who decided to redshirt after the first few games went into the tank. Said he would definitely come back and then entered the transfer portal after the season. So, your point seems to be a natural progression.
  23. Charles, Charles, Charles, coming to Oregon is NEVER a step down.
