  1. Bottom line is Michigan had the best defense in the country and it showed.
  2. I’m going to close this thread and start a post game thread.
  3. If anything, it should end the talk of him being the real Heisman winner.
  4. The number 1 defense in the nation will eventually make those happen.
  5. Now it is reminding me of Oregon/Ohio State 2015.
  6. I bet Mario is loving Michigan’s overly stubborn commitment to the run.
  7. It’s actually reminding me of Oregon/Auburn 2010.
  8. Michigan’s offense hasn’t moved the ball the last 4 drives. McCarthy can’t throw and the Fuskies have figured out a way to stop their running game. This doesn’t bode well for Big Blue.
  9. Washington will probably go up-tempo the rest of the game. It’s their only chance to keep fresh Michigan D-Lineman off the field. Michigan just needs to keep everything in front of them like they did the first quarter. That last drive showed them that they can’t play man.
  10. Michigan screwed themselves by not making Washington pay for their missed 4th down. I didn’t hate Michigan going for it on 4th down because a punt in the end zone wouldn’t have netted them much. I also thought Washington was due for a TD drive. However, I thought the Michigan pass was a bad play call.
  11. He was building homes in Spokane when I used to live there.
  12. I noticed they’ve been letting it go on both sides.
  13. Washington has already given up well more than their season average of rushing YPG which is 137.
  14. Looks like Michigan is content to let them have the short completions.
  15. Just in case anybody wants to talk about the game. McAfee picked the fuskies and Corso picked the Wolverines, so it’s a wash on which team is cursed.
  16. FYI. The opening of this video was a take the opening of Duck Dynasty.
  17. Question. How many on this site thought Oregon was going to trounce Ohio State after their 2015 Rose Bowl massacre of FSU? I only ask because it seemed like everybody was picking the Ducks to win because of their offense. I’m seeing a lot of that reasoning for Washington winning this game.
  18. My favorite of the season was the Colorado video, but this one is pretty awesome. I loved the discussion by the coaches over the headsets to give Bo his curtain call.
  19. I saw the last name and thought you were talking about this guy. Last I heard he had a bum knee.
  20. Hopefully Charles relaxes the rules on Monday night, so I and others can troll the closet fuskie fans on here. On a side note, I hope Michigan wins, but then has to vacate the wins just like USuC did. That way, both sides suffer.
  21. The vast majority of this Michigan’s defense played in the Ohio State game last year when Stroud was QB and MH Jr. and Egbuka were 1K yard receivers. I know it was 2022, but Michigan only lost one DB from that team, so they know what it’s like to see a high powered passing attack that nearly beat UGA last year. They also have two all-Americans at CB this year. Some of you will say last year doesn’t matter, but I think it helps Michigan with how they will prepare. It might also help Michigan that Washington has a hobbled 220 lb RB who they rely heavily on for TD’s in the red zone and who is tremendous at blitz pick-up’s. Michigan has also held every team they’ve played under their PPG average. Washington’s advantage is they don’t have to play in the elements which is where Penix struggles. I think their disadvantage is their run defense which plays into Michigan’s strength. I think Michigan slows the game and doesn’t let Penix get into a rhythm. The Wolverines kneel on the ball to end the game.
  22. Washington says their RB is good to go for next Monday. I saw how he needed help getting off the field. If he plays he will be ineffective. Especially in pass protection. If Washington is one-dimensional the Wolverines will tee off on Penix. They have 8 dudes that they cycle through on their D-Line and all of them are big and nasty. Their defense has no PAC 12 comparison.
