Would like to see D get turnovers. Several dropped picks this year and need to force fumbles. Only Beavis one this week was from a bad snap which they recovered. Glad run D stepped up in 2nd half.

Offense: A. Scored on every drive except intentional kneel downs at end of each half. Blocking was solid, and still to get more playing time from the 2 hurt guys in upcoming games. Should be even better. Still want to see a little more on first down rushes. Despite it being mop up time: Dante > Ty by a mile. Difference in confidence is apparent. Defense: Tail of 2 halves. B overall. Suddenly sloppy tackling in first half, combined with bad luck on poor roughing passer call. But pitching shut out in second half showed coaches and players made great adjustments. DL now removed the monkeys off the back that were Boise history And last Corvallis game. A few more to go…

What is laughable is Pac2 used the $ they stole from Pac12 to buy….wait for it….Fresno St., Colorado St, Boise St., and SDSU?! And to remain solidly in G5?! I think I just peed myself.

Broad team focus, penalties, Offensive Play calling per situation, and OLine: D+ Defense: B (everyone in the building knew who was going to get the ball) Getting the Boise monkey off of the back and being 2-0: A

Word is out there about this being the toughest camp ever. Perhaps another reason (not the only one) for the poor play. Perhaps the OL were tired ,sore, beat up from that. They certainly looked lethargic. We heard similar after the 2021 Stony Brook game which was 17-7 at half and despite 40 rushes, Oregon had only 2 hit over 9 yards all game (17 & 24 yds). Opposing coach even bragged afterwards about how his team pushed Oregon around. Mom of OL player said her son was so sore from practices without time to recover yet. Side note: UO had only 2 passing TDs and were from Ty Thompson in later mop up duty for Anthony Brown.

1. Week one. Intentional vanilla playcalling. 2. Oline was pathetic, regardless.

Sabrina gets a gold in hoops, played well. Go Ducks, Go USA!

Anyone still claim Wilcox was THE guy?, lol

And the second lead story is OSU hiring a women’s rowing coach! Hahahahahaha

From Trojans Wire. The opening says it all: “The USC Trojans are getting smoked by the Oregon Ducks in college football recruiting. It’s hard to avoid that reality, as unpleasant as it is.” One fact shows how much Oregon has surpassed USC in football recruiting WWW.YAHOO.COM The numbers don't lie when Oregon and USC football recruiting are discussed.

This Duck alum with Duck alum wife just watched our daughter graduate today from UO…to become a Duck alum! And my dad is a retired professor from OSU lol.

SEC now has lost 5

So great to win THE LAST Pac12 tournament! Champs!

This win, and it being the last game against Arizona as conference mates, brought back connected memories of those sweet defeats of the Wildcats at Mac Court when they were top ranked. Something about Ducks stomping cats.

Last team still left of the 4 headed to B1G!

And they forget that Muhammad himself was a transfer in to UW from Okla St. Lol. Hypocrisy at its finest.

Sources - Jim Harbaugh accepts head coaching job with Chargers - ESPN WWW.ESPN.COM Jim Harbaugh is leaving the Michigan Wolverines to accept the head coaching job with the Los Angeles Chargers, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter. Hopefully is good for Herbert and Oregon (pending any coaching poaching)

Thank you Bo. Class, character, competitor.

Not. A. Clue.

Source -- Arizona hires San Jose State's Brent Brennan - ESPN WWW.ESPN.COM Arizona has agreed to a five-year deal to make San Jose State's Brent Brennan the school's next football coach, according to a source.

Yah. My point was he is not a great recruiter. I agree he has shown he can get the most out of his players (if one 2023 season is a proper sample size). That said, before 2023 his head coaching record was 7-22. It was not a deep Oklahoma roster they beat. Top 2 QBs opted out (including Gabriel😀), RB, key Oline, S. Arizona was missing zero starters.

Similar analysis of 247’s average individual Transfer Portal recruiting rank in Pac12. Arizona is: 2022: 9th of 12 2023: 9th of 12 2024: 8th of 11 (Stanford has no portal transfers so excluded them). This is barely above UCLA, Beavs, and Cougs. And a tad below ASU. Not great.

Using 247’s recruiting rankings Arizona’s average individual High School recruit rating (not total recruiting points which factors # of signees), here is how Arizona ranked in the Pac12. 2022: 6th of 12 2023: 11th of 12 (beat the Cougs) 2024: 10th of 12 (beat the Cougs and Beavs) Not great.

Dare we say grit?
