  1. Like so many Eugene characters that came before, Uncle Ray, Zeus, Eagle Park Slim and so many more.
  2. Who do the refs work for, themselves? Everyone talking as if the refs are somehow a separate entity when in reality they are employees of individual leagues. The refs are doing what they're told otherwise they'd be replaced immediately.
  3. Meanwhile, on a related topic; What if the sun explodes next week and how would that effect the playoff? Perhaps it's not hyperbolic to say, "Just keep winning!"
  4. (Less than) noble gasses...
  5. Lot's of errors from both teams. Texas failing to impress, BIG time!
  6. Where the Beavs ended up is proof that the universe has way of sorting itself out. And karma...
  7. Would the NCAA be scrambling to change the rules if this was done by Bama or Georgia or tOSU or Texas? I doubt it. More likely they'd be praising them for being clever enough to leverage the rules to win a close game.
  8. Respect the potato! If Boise State keeps winning and makes the playoff they're going to be trouble.
  9. We should be happy we're now able to play through/past enough of this corrupt officiating to get a "big" win when we weren't supposed to. This is what it takes and Lanning knows. We should be even happier we're not CAL. What the ACC has been doing to the Bears is damn near criminal.
  10. tOSU 28 Ducks 21 3 2 285 Unsure about this game for way too many reasons, but hoping I'm wrong... GO DUCKS!
  11. It's "sports entertainment", the athletes are real, the action is real so just enjoy it. Outcomes are determined by who stands to gain/lose the most, or those who work for these stakeholders (refs and reply officials). With all the $$$ on the line now nobody should be surprised either. It's so obvious now they don't even try to hide it.
  12. The players and coach- sure, a little. The hypocritical fans and admin, not.one.bit!
  13. Bill Oram: No, the blood of the Mountain West is not on Oregon State’s hands WWW.OREGONLIVE.COM The Pac-12's plundering of the Mountain West is not the same as what USC, UCLA and others did by abandoning the Pac-12, no matter how loudly you say it. Is this guy for real?
  14. Not looking like a bunch of disorganized NIL and portal...
  15. ^^THIS^^ Hasn't happened yet this year, not the spring game and certainly not against UofI. I'm not writing off the Ducks just yet, but from what I've seen so far we have a VERY long way to go. Go Ducks!
  16. Too bad, Thompson never really had "it" though, so not our problem anymore.
  17. None of the above. I'll take something in 1st class.
  18. Good to hear as he's been down lately. Hopefully he's returning to form!
  19. Hah! Is this what passes for moderation these days? Go Ducks!!!
  20. Maybe there should be a "prima donna tax", where if a player sits out post season games they forfeit a % of NIL monies or something similar.
  21. Best of luck to Bo! I'm thinking he'll make some ESPN clowns eat crow.
  22. I mostly agree with all this. USC may not have had the 'best' receiver corps in CFB, but they were more than good enough to bouy the Caleb show. His scrambling antics might have worked in the PAC12. NFL defenses will not be so generous.
