BIG Rumors About the Offense...
Just what we need, another "deer in the headlights" quarterback.
-
We Stink.....
No one here wants to say it but Lanning has completely lost this team. He is so painfully out of his element that it's obvious to everyone but the die hard homers. Hefrich 2.0. What coach has done less with more? I wouldn't even keep him as DC...

If Indiana Goes Down Today...
Deuce #2, is that an oxymoron?
-
If Indiana Goes Down Today...
Will it be considered as big of a face-plant / fail as Oregon's deuce against OKST?

ESPN: Can Oregon Turn a Corner?
Occasionally, when a train goes off the rails it rights itself and continues on it's expected path. Rare, but it happens.

Dylan Raiola: Are You Thinking What I'm Thinking?
Would a differnet coach even help? Could any coach win it all in Eugene?

Dylan Raiola: Are You Thinking What I'm Thinking?
Dante has a great arm. Great, but that's about it. Maybe he should take up the javelin and join the track team. Not that he could handle that under pressure either. Lanning's a great recruiter. Great, but that's about it. Hopefully they're both good at counting $$$. Because collecting cash seems to be their real talent.

Comparisons Are Brutal and Warranted
I certainly wouldn't bet for him either.

CFP Playoff Flameouts: Has Dan Lanning Reached His Peak?
Dan is not Kirby or Nick. Dan is Dan and so far he's been seriously out-coached when it mattered most. Not to say he can't get beyond this current plateau, but doing so will require something different. Something we haven't seen yet. The question is, does Dan have the extra "something" or not? Time will tell.

Will a 24-Team Playoff Field Ruin College Football?
I've already stuck a fork in it, doubt adding 12 more over paid and under prepared 'clown-squads' will improve anything... I'll still watch, just never quite sure what it is I'm seeing. Go Ducks!

WSJ - Alysa Liu and Four Minutes That Changed The Olympics
Having no skin in any of this, and not being much of a figure skating fan, it was predictable how the media focused on the other (gender issues) girl and her disappointment. What was remarkable was seeing Liu step up and truly win everyone over, even me. What a performance!

Seaton to LSU
Money aside, he probably figures he'll have better chances of winning the "big one" with Kiffen at LSU.

Is Change Coming to Oregon?
When then the 'slogan' defines the reality you might want to pay attention.

Is Change Coming to Oregon?
To quote Cignetti, "We play to win. Other teams play to 'not lose'" This could not be a better explanation of ODB in recent years. Mario figured it out at Miami and damn near won with his Mari-go offense and Mari-no defense. I'm highly skeptical of Lanning's coordinator hires. Where is the 'change' going to come from? I'm not seeing it.
